Tiffin, Ohio is a small town in the United States. The population was 5,471 at the 2010 census. Tiffin is located in Summit County and is part of the Akron metropolitan area. The first settlers to Tiffin were farmers who arrived from Pennsylvania in 1797. By 1827, Tiffin had a population of 100 people. The first school in Tiffin was opened in 1828 by Mrs. Anna Muhlenberg and taught children between ages 6 and 12 years old. In 1861, the town became a village when it merged with two other towns: Coshocton and Perrysburg. In 1900, when Ohio became a state, Tiffin became its capital city and remained so until 1907 when it adopted Cleveland as its capital city again. In 1916, after World War I ended, Tiffin annexed the village of Grafton to its south side for an effective total population of 710 residents. In 1920, after being hit hard by newsprint production plant closures throughout much of America due to technology advancements that took place during World War II (the Great Depression), President Warren G Harding declared an emergency for supplementing paper supplies locally with corn husks which would be exported to meet war needs; this event helped restart Paper Mill #1 on Main Street which had closed several months earlier due to lack of demand from customers since then wars abroad had depleted local resources - later renamed "Harding Paper Company". -Paper Mill #2 reopened on North High School Drive in 1922 as one half of what was now known as "Harding-Wright Paper Company". This company produced high quality paper products such as envelopes and cards until 1957 when they were bought out by Dow Corning Corporation permanently resulting in the discontinuation or sale off all their products including envelopes/cards however some remain available today can be found through online retailers like Amazon while others are still operated out of Harding-Wright Paper Company building on North High School Dr

There are many different types and styles of optic equipment, all with their own unique advantages and disadvantages. This paper will focus on the history ofoculars, specifically focusing devices and eyeglasses. Focusing Devices The first optical devices were simple mirrors that could be turned to bring light into focus. The Babylonians used two small mirrors to focus sunlight onto a viewing screen. In China, three-foot-wide panders were used as rudimentary telescopes in the 6th century BC. By 350 BC, Greeks had developed an improved mirror system that allowed them to see objects up to a 100 feet away using just one lens! By the late 1500s AD, eyeglasses had been invented! A pair of spectacles was made from a piece of glass or metal bent into an arc shape so that it would fit over the eyeholes of clothing. Glasses were also made with leather straps around the neck which allowed people to wear them while working or studying. One particularly clever design was called “The Fuzile Frame” which consisted of two lenses attached by hinges at either end so that they could be moved around easily for changing magnification levels. By 1800 AD, eyeglasses had become common enough for ordinary people to use as they became available! A few years later, eyeglasses began being offered as official government documents! In 1876, British Prime Minister Sir John Russell issued Order 12754 which required all public officials (including customs officers) to have approved glasses in order to allow proper vision during inspections! Eyeglasses soon became popular among everyday people too – by 1910 they were even being offered for sale at department stores! However, not everyone was happy with those pesky little frames everywhere you looked – in 1915 Congress passed an act known as “The American Eye Act” which banned any type of corrective lens other than wide-angle “sunglasses” from being sold within America!!! Unfortunately for us non-Americans (and probably for our eyesight), this law did nothing but help promote further development in both corrective lenses andEyeglass technology!!

Tiffin, Ohio is a small town located in the far northwestern corner of Ohio. The population was 1,814 at the 2010 census. Tiffin is part of the Springfield metropolitan area. It has been inhabited since 1795 and became a village in 1853. The first settler in Tiffin was John Bancker, who arrived on October 20, 1795 and named it Post Office Hill after his home post office in Newburgh, New York. In 1803, the village was renamed Tiffin after James Guthrie Thomson, one of two trustees for the Northwest Territory (the other being surveyor Alexander McGill). On July 8, 1828 Tiffin had its first election as a Village when all of its residents voted to form that year. At that time there were just five plats within Tiffin limits- four of which are still extant today. The only change during this time was that land east of Center Street became part of neighboring Springboro while west became part of Bowling Green Township. In 1830–31 Tiffany had to leave its location because an Indian war occurred there and many people went off to fight against General George Washington’s forces under Captain John Pendleton during the American Revolution (1775-83). A plaque on County Road C-5 outside town tells the story: “This road led from Valley City by way of Lancaster County overland through fields now covered with trees to Fort Pitt Landing at what is now Knoxville; thence by water to Pittsburgh and beyond” In 1834–35 local resident Enoch Pratt organized a township meeting which recommended creating a new township due to increasing population growth rates in central Ohio caused by waves of immigrants coming into the area during this period such as Poles and Hungarians. When no one wanted to join him he disbanded the meeting but kept control over some property including homes on Center Street until 1840 when he sold it all back to settlers for $1/acre(!). Tiffin remained unincorporated until 1850 when it became part of Lucas Township under authority granted by then Governor David Trumbull following recommendations made at a special session called by Trumbull in order “to improve public morals” among other things such as providing more education opportunities for women and improving roads and bridges within township boundaries. That same year also saw increased activity due torailroads reaching Tiffin from Cincinnati via Steubenville through Toledo along State Route 2 making transportation much easier for those living near these townsites—a development that would have significant impacts on future economic development hereabouts! In 1861 Union soldiers burned down Main Street Schoolhouse during an attack on Confederate troops retreating from Gettysburg National Battlefield; this event remains generally regarded as oneof history’s most devastating Acts Of Terrorism! During World War II most residents served in military or civilian roles helping contribute financially or otherwise directly or indirectly to various causes both domestically & abroad including playing key roles setting up airfields & factories throughout central Ohio.— programs like Operation Crossroads help preserve our community's legacy while promoting cultural awareness & appreciation across generations! Some may remember selling ice cream out their window during summertime shortages back in those days… well THAT WAS A TIME BEFORE COMPUTERS! Today we enjoy numerous shopping malls nearby with names like Overstock& Home Depot+ etc.– so much for smalltown life?

In the 1840s, Tiffin became a major center for sugar refining. By 1850, Tiffin had become one of the most important cities on the Great Lakes. In 1865, Tiffin was incorporated as a village. In 1970, Tiffin merged with neighboring towns of West Union and Springboro to form the city of Tiffin.
