Springdale, Ohio is a small town in the Mahoning Valley of north-central Ohio. It is located on the southern bank of the Sayre River, about 7 miles (11 km) east of downtown Youngstown and 8 miles (13 km) west of Zanesville. The population was 2,824 at the 2010 census. The Springdale gun hammer company was founded in 1892 by John W. Henson and Adolphus C. Smith. The company produced guns and pistols under the name of "Springdale Armory." In 1903, the company was sold to George D. Brown and renamed "Brown & Stratton Arms." In 1935, Brown & Stratton became a subsidiary of Winchester Repeating Arms Company. The Springdale gun hammer company ceased production in 1957.
Springdale, Ohio is a town in Butler County, Ohio, United States. The population was 10,865 at the 2010 census. The name Springdale comes from the Shawnee word "kas-wah" meaning "place where wood grows." The town was founded in 1807 by settlers who arrived on the Scioto River. Springdale's first post office was established in 1812. In 1837, the first school in Springdale opened and served students from both the rural village of Springdale and nearby townships. By 1840, there were four schools in Springdale; one for girls and three for boys. A railroad station was built here in 1868 and continued to serve passengers until 1971 when it became a stop on the Great Northern Railroad. In 1955, when Butler County was created, part of what is now Springdale Township went along with it. In 1966, when Butler County merged with Lorain County, most of what is now Springdale became part of that merger as well. According to the 2000 census, springdales are made up mostly of white people with some black people and Native Americans living throughout their community as well as many international refugees coming through during this time period due to natural disasters such as earthquakes or floods

The Browning Pistol Hammer was designed to powerhouse shots out of shotguns using less recoil than other types of pistols. The pistol hammer also allowed handguns to fire multiple rounds per pull from the same magazine without having to reload. During World War II, many German military pistols were fitted with muzzle-loading guns that utilized an armament consisting of two barrel tubes connected by a belt linkage called a Linkenstock which acted as both barrels on one platform giving them great accuracy when firing through cover or over obstacles

This change removed most of whathas been called "the biggest family-owned business district in Ohio." Today,Springdale is an important stop on Route 422 for tourists visiting central Stark County and is home to a variety of businesses including a grocery store, post office, bank, convenience store and cellular phone company.
