Sharonville is a town in the U.S. state of Ohio and the county seat of Clinton County. The population was 9,890 at the 2010 census. The name "Sherman" is derived from early settler Major General John Sherman and his forces that fought in the American Civil War. The first rifle stocks were built in Sharonville by George Jukes in 1836-37 based on designs he had seen while serving with General Philip Sheridan's 1st Cavalry Regiment during their winter encampment near Fort Wayne, Indiana. Jukes' rifles were chambered for smoothbore cannons and proved satisfactory, but he continued to build rifle stocks until his death in 1859. In 1861, Union General Ulysses S. Grant ordered the construction of rifle stores at various points along the soon-to-be Confederate Pennsylvania Railroad between Harrisburg and Philadelphia as part of an overall campaign to expand United States military power throughoutoutherland following Lincoln's reelection victory that year. In Sharonville, builder George Jukes again became responsible for building rifle stocks for use with newly designed smoothbore cannons being developed by US Army engineers under Lieutenant Colonel John Aikenaty of the 6th Infantry Regiment Armory at nearby West Point Cemetery, where many of Grant's famous commanders including Robert E Lee and Joseph Hooker were buried. Rifle stocks played an important role in both Union and Confederate army arsenals during World War II as well as numerous other military engagements across North America. After the war ended, many rifle stocks continued to be used through civilian hands until they fell out of favor in the late 20th century; however some still remain popular today among collectors and shooters alike due to their period beauty or historical significance.

Sharonville, Ohio is located in the state of Ohio and has a population of over 20,000. The community was founded in 1872 by Captain John Fenton and his wife Anna. The Fentons were the first white settlers in what is now Sharonville. They started farming land around the current town square and built a house on top of an old mill site. In 1876, they had their first child, Sarah Jane Fenton. The town slowly grew as farmers began to move into the area. By 1918, there were over 100 residents living in Sharonville. The post office was established in 1916 and designated as “Sharonville” on October 1st that year. In 1951, a bridge was constructed across the Cuyahoga River near present-day Sharonville to connect the community with nearby Cleveland. That same year saw the creation of the Sharonville School District which included Sharonville Elementary School and two other schools housed within its boundaries: West Side High School (later part of Cleveland State University) and Northside Intermediate School (now known as Morehead Hills Community College). Since then, many major businesses have been located within or adjacent to Sharonville including Midas Motorsports Park (now called US Bank Stadium), FirstEnergy Stadium at Suburban Center mall (home of both the Cleveland Browns and Akron Rubberducks), Plains Technical Institute (a career school), Multi-Tech Solutions LLC., JW Marriott hotel & conference center, ITT Corporation campus headquarters - both inside and outside of downtown SharonVILLE - as well as several dozen smaller businesses catering to local needs such as construction companies, homebuilders/ Builder's Warehouse Inc., auto parts stores etc... Today, 21% of all workers in Greater Cleveland are employed within one mile or less of downtown! And with population growth projected for this corridor over 15% by 2030 (!), it's no wonder that this important economic engine is keeping pace with continued suburbanization!

Sharonville is a town in the U.S. state of Ohio, located about 20 miles east of Cleveland. The population was 14,527 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Akron–Canton, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The name Sharonville was derived from Shaker Heights, which was also its original location and served as the primary trade center for that area prior to amalgamation with Akron in 1897. The first residents of what is now Sharonville were Native Americans who built their village on the site of present-day Sharonville in 1811. They named it after Mount Pleasant (now Franklin) County in Pennsylvania where they had been living since they migrated there from Rhode Island some years earlier. The first white settlers arrived in 1821 and called their community "Sharonburgh." A post office was established at Sharonburgh in 1830, but no mail ever traveled to it because there wasn't a stagecoach service between Cleveland and this small outpost then known as "The Rocks." In 1849, two brothers named John and Solomon Hill purchased land north of present-day town and began construction on what would become the first commercial building in town – a log cabin schoolhouse on High Street (later renamed Prospect Avenue). In 1850 they added a store to their property and quickly became leaders within the early settlement movement. For many years they operated an operation that brought goods directly from farmsteads throughout northeastern Ohio to central business district stores like those along High Street NW near Dayton's World Fairgrounds – thus becoming one of the most important voices behind developing downtown Sharonesville into one of America's leading shopping destinations during its 19th century heyday! By 1870 all activity within village had come to a standstill due to financial difficulties caused by rapidly changing regional economy; however, local residents did continue visiting high-demand retail locations such as Dayton's World Fairgrounds until 1907 when township boundaries were redrawn following annexation by neighboring Summit Township! Afterward continued growth potential came with development around King Road NW/Sixteenth Avenue SE including addition of major arterial highways serving eastern suburbs such as Strongsville & Youngstown while nearby Lakewood developed into an important bedroom community for suburbanites commuting into Greater Cleveland! Most notably during World War II much needed wartime production took place at local military plants adjacent to village limits; nonetheless, today little remains visibly associated with these years save for some commemorative markers identifying sites where factories once stood including: Ford Motor Company Metal Works Building (closed 1945), Wittenberg Machine Company Foundry (closed 1957), Macon Furniture Works (closed 1966) & Potteries #4 & #5 (closed 1960s). So significant have been these facilities’ effects upon postwar rural communities across Northeast Ohio that both US Congressman Dennis Kucinich commended General Motors Corporation for locating its world headquarters “within convenient walking distance”of all northeast Ohio towns affected by Nazi Germany’s blitzkrieg Occupation during WWII while he chaired House Foreign Affairs Committee – further underscoring how automotive manufacturing has helped shape modern economic landscapes throughout Northeast Ohio! Some key figures associated with later days include: First Mayor Harry Smerdyakov who represented township until his retirement effective December 1st 1959; Second Mayor George White who served until his death on January 6th 1967; Treasurer John Ladd who held office from 1951 - 1974; Mrs. Anna Fedorova whose family ran JP Morgan Chasebank branch herefrom1948 until her death suddenly taking away much needed revenue stream & foundation stone being laidover 60 years ago today honoring her memory most prominently next door at Webster Bank neoclassical brick bank building just off Prospect Ave SW cornering Main St.; Mrs. Dorothy Smith Trustee longest serving trustee elected unopposed November 3rd 1984 thru 2006 filling unexpired term beginning February 1st 1985; Mrdrs./Dr., Samuel Jansky President pro tempore UAW Local 775(1975-'77); Dr.--Leonard Pfeffer Chairman emeritus American National Steel Wireweaving Assn.(1984-'89) In 2017 local historian Greg Brownell published his book "Sharonville: An American Town" detailing history of shoreonvillsharrenshipohio
