The first settlement in what is now Seven Hills was made in 1811 when a group of settlers from Muskingum County arrived and erected a log cabin on the site known as Old Canada Creek. In 1814, another group of pioneers from Muskingum County arrived and began construction on a gristmill on the banks of Beaver Creek which became known as Fort Beaver (later renamed Seven Hills). This mill continued to run until 1865 when it was destroyed by fire. In 1825, Captain James Kapp purchased land at what is now corner of High and Middle Streets from David Laird for $500 dollars which he used to build his home called "Kapp's Mill." Kapp served as director of education for Perry County for two years during its early days and established Seven Hills’ first school in 1830. In 1854, he donated land adjoining his home to create an open-air park called “Kapp Park” that still exists today. He also founded The Mountaineers Lodge #2 Masonic Temple (now First Baptist Church), which moved from its original location near Kapp's Mill into its current building in 1912; this large brick structure still stands today within the boundaries of Seven Hills Park/Kapp Park! A post office operated at Three Forks Ford until 1895; afterward it relocated to nearby Wrightstown where it remained until 1959 when it was moved back into Seven Hills proper along with most other physical aspects associated with the village! Today seven hills remains one of America’s most vibrant small villages with close-knit relationships among its residents who share common interests including gardening, playing games such as checkerboard or corn hole together while watching local baseball games or going shopping at local farmers markets - all within easy walking distance!

In 1907, Seven Hills became one of fourteen townships within Lucas County, Ohio along with other villages such as Portsmouth and Zanesville. On November 3rd, 1907, during its incorporation into Lucas County, Seven Hills voted 2-1 to allow local streets to be named for county officers including Sheriff John Hennigan (1851-1937) who served from 1911 until his death in 1937 On December 5th 1978 Seven Hills celebrated its 375th anniversary when it erected a small monument on Main Street commemorating this event On October 6th 1984Seven hills honored its 350th anniversary when it erected a large monument on West Court which includes an obelisk dedicated to Judge Isaac Tilton (1792-1860) pioneer settler In 1992 Seven hills celebrated its 450th Anniversary when it erected another large monument on South Main Street which included an obelisk dedicated to Mayor James Waddell (1850-1940) who served from 1905 until his death in 1940
