Seven Hills, Ohio is a small town in the northwestern portion of the United States. The population was 2,521 at the 2010 census, up from 1,955 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Cleveland-Akron-Canton, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. First settled in 1810 by George Washington Cranch and his family, Seven Hills became a village in 1814. The village name was changed to Seven Hills after its location on a hill overlooking the community. In 1835 Seven Hills approved a charter that created what is now Cleveland Township; it had been organized as part of Cuyahoga County but became part of Summit County when that county was formed in 1871. In 1948Seven Hills voted to become an incorporated municipality and it has remained an unincorporated community ever since. On July 16, 2009 Seven Hills voters passed Measure 7 which will rename their township "Seven Hills Township." The change took effect on October 1st

Seven Hills, Ohio is a small town in the U.S. state of Ohio. The population was 992 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland–Akron Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village was founded by Methodist missionaries in 1811 as a place for Indian traders to sell goods they had brought back from America's west coast. Its first settler, Hugh Smith, arrived in 1812 and named it after nearby Hillcrest on which he built his home. In 1814, Seven Hills became the site of an annual Agricultural Fair that attracted more than 3,000 visitors from all over the United States and Canada. The fairgrounds remain today and are used for events such as family reunions, church services, and horse shows. In 1828 Seven Hills passed through a annexation process with neighboring unincorporated Miami Township to form what would become Cleveland County. The new county courthouse was completed in 1830 and served as the center of local government until 1907 when it was moved to its current location on Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland. The community's economy changed significantly following World War II when industries became available in the area surrounding Lake Erie: shipbuilding and Marine engineering were two of these sectors; other major businesses included aircraft manufacturer Republic Aviation Corporation (now Boeing) and toy company Mattel Inc.. In recent years seven hills has experienced revitalization with efforts including redevelopment of its commercial areas into mixed-use districts anchored by high-end restaurants and hotels; numerous cultural offerings including art galleries, music venues, theaters, museums/museumscellaneous shops; education excellence with Sixteen schools within walking distance while also providing access to additional schools via online resources.; and much needed infrastructure investments such as new roads (including one linking Seven Hills directly to Cuyahoga Falls), water systems (including a new sewer system), parks/landscapes (including a golf course), libraries/gallery spaces etc... These projects have resulted in increased business activity along Euclid Avenue which now forms one critical artery for economic development throughout Greater Cleveland - creating opportunities for More Than One Hundred jobs!
Seven Hills is a village in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first Europeans to inhabit what is now Seven Hills were French Canadians who came looking for land to farm in 1795. They named their land "Haute-Ville", after the hill on which they found it. In 1802, the area became part of the United States and was named Five Points by General James K. Polk as part of an effort to unite all of Ohio under one government. The name Haute-Ville was shortened to Seven Hills by 1812 because no other settlements had been established there yet. In 1814, Seven Hills residents organized a school district which included present-day Cleveland and most of Holmes County. The first buildings were erected here in 1815 and the school continued until 1905 when it moved to Clairton Elementary School south of East Side Highway and east of Euclid Avenue in Cleveland Heights. In 1870, seven farmers bought 2 acres (0 km²) on top of Hillcrest Cemetery for $1 per acre (0·24 hectares). This site served as a burial ground until 1893 when it became known as cemetery row A because that's where most of the early settlers buried their dead. The cemetery still exists today and is open to visitors during regular business hours only
