In 1924, a group of men met to discuss the possibility of creating a large-scale irrigation system in Seven Hills, Ohio. They were led by John L. Moyer and started work on the project in 1928. The project was completed in 1933 and provided much needed irrigation for the land around Seven Hills. The conversion of this large ditch system was also a significant accomplishment for Seven Hills.

Seven Hills is a village in Ottawa County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,812 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cincinnati metropolitan area. The land that would make up Seven Hills was first settled by Europeans in the early 1800s. The first permanent settler in what would become Seven Hills was George Washington Bidwell who arrived in 1824 and built a cabin on what is now Main Street. In 1830, John Pemberton purchased from Bidwell and began to clear land for a town site. By 1835, some of the settlers had started to build homes on their plots and called themselves "Seven Hills". The name Hopkinsville originated from Jno Hopkins who bought land east of Seven Hills in 1836 and laid out a town square which he named "Hopkinsville". In 1840, vote was taken to rename the town after President James K. Polk which resulted in Seven Hills becoming known as Dayton, OH after Secretary of War John Cranch's home state (Ohio). After Dayton became an city it changed its name yet again to seven hills due to lack of votes being cast on the issue within the city limits alone! During World War II many residents left for military service but there were also many casualties brought about by bombings and other shelling that took place during that time period within hearing range of their homes- this accounted for much of Seven Hills' infrastructure having been destroyed or damaged since 1945 including both schools (now closed) as well as most houses being razed or rebuilt following fires caused by shells detonating close enough to these structures! Between 1948 - 1963 there were no changes made to the government or governing body with only minor updates taking place bu Town Manager Lester Hinton through his office; however when new Township Marshall Denny assumed office on January 1st 1963 things changed quickly with more than $10K worth of improvements needed prior approval from Mayor Denny before any construction could begin! This included such features as new streets/parking lots being graded so traffic flow could be managed better without runners between properties & several water main replacements completed throughout Six Mile Road; all while still keeping school functions running smoothly until 1984 when busing services were discontinued due to budget cuts?! ?!? Seven Hills is a small town in thecore of Cleveland, Ohio. The population was 7,824 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Cuyahoga County metropolitan area. The original settlements in what is now Seven Hills were developed around a trading post that was established by George Washington and his troops during the French and Indian War (1763-1767). At its peak, Seven Hills had 19 merchants and three churches. In 1815, when Major General John Polkinghorne besieged Fort Pitt on the lower Great Lakes, Seven Hills supplied corn to feed his army. The first settler in what is now Seven Hills was Samuel Hays. He arrived in 1792 with his family from Scotland and built a log cabin on High Hill near present day Midland Boulevard. By 1800, most of what are now Seven Hills had been settled and it became known as "Hillsborough." A post office was established at Highland Heights on July 1, 1814, serving residents of Ashville (now Richfield), Parkersburg (now Findlay), Cardston (now Mentor), North Aurora (now Strongsville) and South Aurora (now Euclid). On December 5, 1830, Nineveh Township was organized from much of Starke Township including seven miles of east-west highway which ran through what is now Seven Hills; this township changed its name to Hilliard on January 3, 1831 after President Andrew Johnson's speech at Columbian Hall in which he praised American democracy while urging Americans to remember their history. The first schoolhouse in what is now Seven Hills was built by Capt Elisha Packard in 1796-97; it burned down but did not kill any students because there were no schools at that time for settlers to learn from. A schoolhouse replaced by a Methodist church were built next door to Mr Packard's house between 1801-02; they too burned down but this didn't kill any students because there weren't then any schools for settlers to learn from either! In 1823-24 Alfred Hubbard founded an academy which operated until 1840 when he sold it to Joseph Pemberton who moved it into present day Union Terminal Shopping Center where it still stands today! Mr Pemberton also donated land for an cemetery which began service in 1886! An early store opened up about 1870 by Nicholas Hermitage called "Hermitage's" but closed within one year due to financial difficulties.—In those days almost all stores opened with about four months' supply so if you didn't have anything you could go buy something else !—It wasn't long before other stores started populating the area so I think Hermitage's should actually be ranked higher than First National Bank.—Later on Mrs Grover took over management duties at "Hermitages" until her death in 1898.— Mrs Grover had biggest impact on Main Street being named after her rather than having other businesses use her maiden name like some other stores did.—After she died another lady named Maynard took over management duties until her death also.—Mrs Maynard had biggest impact on Market Street being called simply "Market Street" even though multiple business used that name such as Fifth National Bank.} Today many people know just about every resident or knows somebody who has lived here permanently or someone who grew up here.; however many people still don't really understand how big or importantSeven Hills really Was prior to 2000!!!!!
