Seven Hills is an unincorporated community in the U.S. state of Ohio, located southeast of Cincinnati on the eastern bank of the Great Miami River. The population was 1,052 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton–Marion County metropolitan area. The land that would become Seven Hills was purchased by settlers from Delaware in 1795 and named for Mount Lebanon, in present-day Pennsylvania. Settlers built a log cabin near what is now Winton Road in 1800 and founded a town on the site with sixty-eight residents. In 1814, when Winton Road was first laid out, it ran through present-day Seven Hills; today it enters Dayton just south of its junction with US 231/Highway 90A. By 1817, however, all but six residents had left to start new settlements routes away fromSeven Hills – one upriver at Brownsville (now Marietta), one downriver at Ottawa (now Maysville), and four along what are now US 231/Highway 90A and SR 234 (Winton Road). In 1824 Seven Hills had ten residents; during that year Ohio statehood was granted to Ohio and those living west of Cincinnati were given application forms to move eastward into newly acquired territory including Seven Hills; only two applications were received so seven men started building a dam across the Great Miami River (later called Donelson Dam) which created Lake Erie behind their homes for irrigation purposes – this also included construction of a courthouse and jail which still stand today as part of downtown Dayton's Waterfront District complex housing restaurants and other businesses since 1998. The post office operated from May 5, 1830 until October 7th 1870 when it merged with nearby New Lebanon to form Newport News; both post offices continued operation until 1970 under new name change changes due to Indiana secessionism known as West Virginia Unions movement - Newport News became Huntington Beach effective November 3rd 1870 after California became a state following Mexican American War victory over Mexico City born Californios who settled in Orange County adjacent to Los Angeles Harbor possible because there were no Indian trails leading into central California then considered part of Mexico Territory - similar process happened with exceptions such as Santa Ana Mountains where Spanish missions stood until 1860s before becoming Anaheim city limits

Seven Hills is a town in Lawrence County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,692 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland–Akron-Canton, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settler in Seven Hills was Abram Sweeny in 1812. A post office called Seven Hills was established in 1821, and served until 1836. The name "Seven Hills" was given to the community by General David Hunter for his hideout on a hilltop near present day 7 Mile Road and state Route 21. The community took its name from seven hills that lined the edge of what is now Seven Hills Township (north of I-675). In 1833, one of the early churches built in Lawrence County was organized by Rev. John Gorman and Drs Aaron Jenson and Isaac Morse under the leadership of Deacon James Whitefield. That same year saw another church organized by Rev. George Preble with Samuel Cummings as pastor; this church met on an estate north of present day I-675 and east of Park Avenue across from Holmes Elementary School (now known as Allendale Middle School). In 1840, Oneida township residents meeting voted to incorporate their village into Lawrence County when they realized there were not enough homes available within Oneida Township to support a full township government with its own police force and courthouse/ jail combination On July 10, 1846, following Union victory at Battle Creek during the Mexican American War – which severed much of central Illinois – Genl Ulysses S Grant ordered all military forces be withdrawn from Ohio except for about 2 hundred men garrisoned at Cincinnati under General Orders No 158 dated July 4th which read “All officers must leave their stations within 12 hours after receipt thereof” Emmalynn Cramer donated land adjacent to her home on Park Ave., just east of Holmes Elementary School where today's Allendale Middle School stands for use as a school ground during those years while Eunice Crowther used her home across from that site also before it became part of Allendale Middle School . On November 15th 1861 over 3 thousand people came out onto Market Street to listen to Washington Hall goingading them into secessionist politics just days after Abraham Lincoln had been elected President !!! After three days only 10 people showed up so Mr Hall adjourned proceedings without giving anyone an opportunity to speak
Seven Hills is a city in the northwest corner of Ohio, United States. The population was 5,549 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton-Cincinnati-Middletown, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area now comprising Seven Hills was settled by families from what is now Delaware County and Price Township on the southern border of present-day Cincinnati as early as 1811. The first post office in Seven Hills was established in 1814, and its name reflects its rural location: seven hills refers to the height of a hill near which goods were delivered to market. During the American Civil War,Seven Hills served as a garrison town for Union troops stationed around Dayton. In 1865, it became part of the newly formed Hamilton County when that county was created from parts of Price and Delaware counties. In 1870, Seven Hills absorbed most of what are now Belmont and Holmes townships in Price Township; these towns had been founded earlier but did not join Seven Hills until after it incorporated as a city. At this time, most residents still lived near their farms or businesses within one or two miles of their homes; today’s boundaries reflect this pattern. A sawmill operated by Jenson & Sons began operations in 1872 on the east side of town; it continued operation until 1905. From 1881 to 1886, John Ahern manufactured beer for local taverns at his brewery on Third Street in downtown Seven Hills; his company has since been replaced by Pabst Brewing Company . Kroger opened its first store in nearby Belmont Heights on November 12th 1969 (the same day that Home Depot opened). Kroger would eventually become one of Dayton's largest retail employers with over 1 million employees across all formats including grocery stores/markets/commerce centers/#KROGER
