Today, Seven Hills residents continue their culture of agriculture through farming, dairying, horticulture, and other related activities. Some of the businesses that have served Seven Hills over the years include: First Presbyterian Church (founded 1865), Julius Rosenwald's Sons Flour Mill (1906-1966), A&P Supermarkets (1973-present), Sibley Shoe Store (1907-1978), Cooks Lumber Company (1893-1950), KFC Colonel Sanders' Pizza Hut (1977-present), and Roses Inc.'s flowers store/market/grocery store/bakery (1996-present).

Seven Hills is a town in Holmes County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,914 at the 2010 census. It was part of the Cincinnati metropolitan area before being annexed by Columbus in 2005. Brown platted the town site on March 3, 1813, and it became a part of the newly formed Holmes County. The first post office opened in 1815. In 1833, John Dennison built a sawmill on Mill Creek which became one of Seven Hills' main economic engines until its closure around 1880. In 1865, General Philo Farnsworth founded an agricultural fairgrounds and market place here which continues to this day as Oneonta Fairgrounds & Market Place. During World War I (1918-1921), seven brothers enlisted with the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) and fought in Europe as members of Company A2/7th Infantry Battalion under Lieutenant Colonel Edward Jumbo Joneson from nearby Norwood Heights . After World War II ended, most manufacturing within Seven Hills vanished as technology took over; however some businesses such as Hancock's Restaurant still thrives today thanks to its modern marketing techniques On November 5, 1955 Seven Hills experienced its only tornado outbreak when two cars hit a tree near Center Street and Main Avenue after getting lost on their way to get ice cream at Dunkin' Donuts . This also marked the first time that an EF5 tornado had struck Ohio since records began being kept more than 100 years ago Oneonta residents erected a $10 000 memorial fund to support victims of severe weather events which have occurred within Oneonta jurisdiction since 1955 including twisters such as those caused by Hurricane Agnes (1969), tornadoes spawned by strong windstorms like Katrina (2005),and Ike (2008). Today damage assessments are ongoing for each occurrence but much has been done heretofore for multiple events all reported within Oneonta limits
