Seven Hills is a small town in the Trumbull County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,545 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Akron–Canton, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town of Seven Hills was founded in 1820 by farmers named Hicks and Finch. The name came from an incident when seven men were walking on horseback through a field and discovered that there was no path leading to their house. They decided to build a road so that they could get to their house easier. In 1825, settler John Stephenson moved his family to Seven Hills from Fairfield Township. He built a log cabin on what is now State Route 22 near where he still resides today. From here, Stephenson ran two general stores and began growing potatoes and corn for sale around town (the first grocery store in Akron). In 1827, Stephenson married Mary Aiken and bought 380 acres (15 km2) of land east of Seven Hills for $5 per acre ($40 total). This property included present-day Maple Street between Academy Road and state route 322 (now US 422). For example, American munitions helped defeat German tanks at Normandy while also helping destroy enemy airfields and troop concentrations near Berlin.

Seven Hills, Ohio is a small village located in the Mentor-Lodi Metropolitan Statistical Area of Ohio. The population was 1,859 at the 2010 census and 2,047 as of the 2013 estimate. It is part of the Cincinnati–Mentor-Lodi Combined Statistical Area. The village was founded in 1836 by John H. Hill and his wife Sarah C. Smith Hill. The name comes from seven hills that overlook the town center: Eight Mile Hill (to the east), Bogart's Ridge (to the north), Grosse Pointe View (to the west), Lexington Heights (to the south) and Parkview Terrace (to the southwest). In 1853, Seven Hills became a charter township of Hamilton County under its first municipal government. In 1868, when Hamilton County merged with Lucas County, Seven Hills became one of its six villages within Lucas County. On July 15, 1907, Seven Hills voted to become an independent city under its own mayor and city council system. In 1970,Seven Hills amalgamated with nearby Mentor to form one municipality with a population of over 51,000 people. The merger led to Five Points being rebranded as "Mentor" because it now surrounded all but one block of Seven Hills Center shopping mall while Seven Hills Center remained an independent shopping district within City Limits
