Bipedalism is the dominant form of locomotion on Earth. It has been observed for over 350 million years, and bipeds are the only vertebrates with two limbs that can move independently. The first bipedal humans appeared about 50,000 years ago in Africa. They were able to use their two legs to walk upright and climb trees. The first true bipedal animals were the dinosaurs. These creatures had four limbs that could be used independently like a human, but they also had a backbone and four tailbones (a feature unique to dinosaurs). At around 65 million years ago, there was a big change in the way we evolved. Animals started losing their tails and developing more than one limb per foot. This new form of locomotion known as quadrupedism became the dominant mode of movement on Earth. For the most part, these animals lived in groups and hunted together. However, some individuals did manage to survive alone for a time. One such individual was an animal known as Homo erectus. Homo erectus first appear from prehistoric sites in Africa about 40,000 years ago and they were probably the first humans to live in pairs or small groups. They were probably able to walk upright because they had strong muscle power on their feet and hands which allowed them to cling onto things firmly without relying on nails or claws like other animals do today. Their diet consisted mainly of meat but they also ate plants which helped them get enough calories for their large body size! Homo erectus eventually migrated out of Africa about 12,000 years ago and started living in different parts of the world including Asia, Europe, North America and Australia! After being living in different regions for many centuries, Homo sapiens finally reached California about 10 thousand years ago! At this point in time there was already some diversity amongst human populations due to migration! However, within a few hundred miles of each other there was still very little interaction between humans! This situation changed when people began building roads! Roads allowed people To trade goods with each other better so they could build more settlements closer together! As travelers passed through these areas it became easier for them to meet new people and learn their culture! After getting experience from all sorts of different cultures people then decided that it would make sense for them To start creating their own societies too…

In 1871, a man named John C. Powell bought land in Riverside, Ohio and began to build a ranch. He called his ranch "The Powell Farm." The ranch was subdivided in 1914 into six tracts and the name changed to "The Farms" because of the subdivision's location. In 1926, The Farms was merged with other companies to form the Riverside Corporation. Riverside Corporation became one of the leading landowners in Ohio until they were acquired by Monsanto in 1986.

The city was founded in 1824 by General James Wilkinson as a post office on the Scioto River. It became an incorporated town in 1836 and was named for its founder. When he first arrived in this area he found that there were no settlements other than those on the Scioto River itself which made transportation difficult and dangerous so he decided to name his new settlement "Riverside." In 1840, following his victory over Native Americans at Battle of Fallen Timbers, General Wilkinson donated land totaling 5 acres (2 ha) alongriverine strip between Washington Street and Euclid Avenue east of downtown to become what would later become Riverside Township (now part of Kent County). At this time there were only about fifty people living in Riverside Township out of some 2200 residents who lived within easy walking distance of each other throughout most of eastern Kent County – making it one of the most rural areas in Ohio at that time! The site of present-day Riverside was chosen as its namesake due to its close location to both Richmond County and Hampton Roads – two key shipping points during American history In 1861, when America entered into war with Confederate forces over slavery issues following Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation, much of eastern Kentucky became Union territory under General Robert E Lee’s command On July 12th 1861 violence erupted between pro-Union militia groups known as “the Blackshirts” and secessionist militias known as “The Red Shirts” throughout central Ohio around Lancaster – some 15 miles (24 km) east of downtown Cincinnati On July 16th 1861 Union forces moved into Lancaster from nearby Xenia while skirmishes raged outside; within minutes large numbers of troops had surrounded pro-Union militia groups called “The Forty Thieves” which included several hundred black slaves who sided with their white masters At 2 pm EDT on July 16th 1861 about 1 000 men from both sides clashed near Lancaster; within minutes artilleryfire began killing many horsemen and bystanders before turning against their own brethren Outnumbered by superior Union forces numbering in the thousands (!), The Forty Thieves quickly surrendered without resistance or loss Thereafter approximately 3 400 men were arrested or taken into custody at various locations across northern Indiana Territory including Indianapolis… ultimately all Confederate soldiers captured west of Lebanon were burned alive at Valley Forge National Military Park [in Pennsylvania]

However, this period of prosperity was followed by a regression that lasted until the late 21st century when Riverside's population has remained relatively stable at around 15,000.
