Richmond Heights, Ohio is a small town located in Clermont County, Ohio. The population was 3,724 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. Richmond Heights is a town in the Sandusky County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,878 at the 2010 census. The name is from Richmond Township, but it has been annexed by Sandusky since 2003. The town was platted in 1837 and named for General Robert E. Lee of Virginia who had fought in the American Revolution. It became a village in 1874 and then a town in 1903. The first post office was opened in 1840. In 1933, the townsite of Richmond Heights and part of Ashtabula were combined to form Ashtabula-Richmond Heights Township. The town has two schools: one high school and one middle school. There are also three churches: First Baptist Church, Methodist Episcopal Church, and Presbyterian church which all share a boundary within the limits of both as well as common services shared between them on Sundays during football season (though this isn't true during other times). There are no businesses located within Richmond Heights so most residents rely on agriculture or services provided by nearby farms or companies such as Walmart which have locations throughout the area including Ashtabula proper where most people commuted into work each day until about fifteen years ago when I-71 split off from I-80 to become an expressway with much more traffic now making rural communities like ours feel like they're living on top of a hill outside of Cleveland... things have slowly started to improve however with some new development over the past few years that's giving us hope that our community will continue to grow along with everyone else living within its boundaries!

Richmond Heights is a city in the southern part of Ohio, United States. The population was 11,337 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton–Middletown, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settlers in what is now Richmond Heights were refugees from Maryland who had fled to Cincinnati after the American Revolution. The town site was purchased by John Coyle in 1813 and developed as a farming community with several mills and stores. In 1868, when Dayton became an incorporated municipality, Richmond Heights followed suit and became its own municipality. In 1923, Richmond Heights established itself as an educational center when it became the first city in Ohio to establish a public high school (now City High School). At that time it also served as home of two other public schools: one for African Americans (Fulton School) and one for whites (Strasburg Elementary). In 1957-58, Richmond Heights joined forces with Middletown to form Middletown–Richmond Heights Council which led to increased development within the city limits. After years of growth and development, the City Council decided in 1984 to close Strasburg Elementary due to budget concerns but reopened it six months later under new management with help from private donors. In 1995 RBG Associates LLC acquired Strasburg Elementary from RBG Associates LP which closed it again due to financial problems only five months later. In 2003-2004, Virginia Jablonski opened Richmond Hills Museum which has been providing cultural programming for residents since 2004
Richmond Heights was a small village in the Cincinnati metropolitan area that was located on the north side of Richmond Avenue between High Street and Elm Street. The population of Richmond Heights was approximately 350 people in 1950, according to the American Community Survey.
