The Reynoldsburg, Ohio community has been wearing firearms t-shirts for decades. The first such shirt was created in 1948 by a local gunsmith, Samuel P. Reynolds. The Reynoldsburg Rifle and Pistol Club, founded in 1879, was the first gun club in Ohio. The club met at the home of Reuben and Sarah Reynolds for two months in March of that year. The club began using weapons from local farmers to shoot matches at their farmhouse. In 1881, the club purchased a rifle from Elisha L. Bean and began shooting matches at nearby Pemberton Park. In 1896, the club acquired a shotgun from John Hantz and began shooting matches at their home property. That same year, they became members of the National Rifle Association (NRA). In 1907, they changed their name to the Reynoldsburg Rifle and Pistol Society (RRPS). They continued to meet monthly until 1925 when they disbanded due to financial difficulties.
Reynoldsburg, Ohio is a small town in southwestern Ohio that was founded by Presbyterian settlers in 1814. The population of the town was 5,854 at the 2010 census. Reynoldsburg is located on the Scioto River and is bordered by Delaware County to the south, Findlay County to the west, and Licking County to the north. It is part of the Dayton–Middletown–Beachwood metropolitan statistical area. The first settler in what would become Reynoldsburg was Johnan Rea, who arrived in 1814 from Scotland. In 1815 he purchased land from James Dixon for $3 per acre. He named his new settlement Reynoldstown after John Rea's older brother-in-law, George Reynolds. The first school building was built in 1816 and served as a daycare until 1833 when it became an academy. The first store opened in 1830 and became known as "the old store." In 1840 John Aiken founded a sawmill on the Scioto River opposite present-day Reynoldsburg Boulevard and named it after himself. That same year William Brough erected a gristmill on West Main Street near where now Beaver Dam Road meets Interstate 77W (then I-77). This mill served as a major economic engine for Reynoldstown through most of its history; however, it closed down around 1910 due to wear and tear from traffic along I-77W. From 1850 to 1860 three churches were built: First Presbyterian (1850), Second Presbyterian (1860), and Methodist (1862). In 1865 James Dixon donated 640 acres (2 km²) of land northeast of present-day Reynoldsburg Boulevard for industrial development including an experimental railroad station that never came into use because of lack of funding. This site would later be used for Reid’s Furniture factory which moved there from nearby Youngstown beginning production in 1898 followed by other factories including Mather & Sons clothing company beginning operations there also starting production during World War I creating jobs for local residents; these factories continued until 1942 when they were placed within Youngstown’s city limits according to state law during World War II Allied victory over Germany which ended German involvement with manufacturing plants throughout Ohio prior to war After Repeal Settlement Act passed Congress increased taxes on liquor sales needed for causes such as national defense purposes making whiskey too expensive for many farmers to produce so much alcohol anymore leading some farmers moved away towards larger cities while others chose not TO leave but lost access to their lands their irrigation systems had been destroyed caused by flooding following Hurricane Andrew Additionally large grain purchases were being made at this time leading businessmen like J P Morgan started investing money into these areas thus helping keep prices low

Reynoldsburg is an unincorporated community in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. It is located on the edge of the rolling hills of the Mayflower Township, west of the city of Cincinnati. Reynoldsburg was founded in 1811 by John Reynolds and his family. The population was 1,814 at the 2000 census. The first settler in what would become Reynoldsburg was John Reynolds himself. He and his family came to America from Ireland in 1794. They platted a small town named Moynihan on the Scioto River north of present-day Reynoldsburg. From this town, they developed a retail business that eventually became one of the largest in Hamilton County. In addition to their store, Reynoldstown also had a school and tavern which helped make it an important center for early commercial development in northwestern Ohio. In 1811, John Reynolds migrated his family from Moynihan to what would become Reynoldsburg when he purchased 5 acres (20 hectares) of land on the Scioto River east of present-day downtown Cincinnati with intentions of settling there permanently. The original location for Reynoldsburg – close to where now Springvale Cemetery stands – appears to have been chosen because it offered good farmland and water supplies as well as easy access to transportation via trails running along both banks of the river. One theory suggests that John Reynolds may have considered moving into Cincinnati because he felt that its growth could only be halted byopoly power wielded by a few wealthy businessmen – something he believed was achievable through his new business venture alone. John's grandson Nathanial ran one of Ohio's most successful stores until 1886 when he sold out to J P Morgan & Company for $1 million dollars – making him one of history's richest men at that time! In 1881 Nathanial's son Julius died suddenly after suffering a stroke while operating his father's liquor store; young Julius then took over management duties and worked tirelessly day and night until tragedy struck again when fire destroyed much valuable property including parts of their store building just two years later! This event made Nathanial oneoshiillionaire once again but did nothing to change how important retailing remained within Hamilton County’s overall economy during this critical period leading upto World War I! Finally able to build anew following federal deposit insurance regulations enacted during That era (a time before such requirements were common throughout muchoftheusa), Nathanial reopened their store in 1921/22 - becoming operational once again as oneofHamiltonCounty’s mainstay retailers! Continued success led them into national prominence after World War II as general merchandise storesdotheUnitedStatesbecame increasingly popular among American consumers dueanta growing awarenessofprice GougingandShopping Cart Fairs!. For many years they continuedtodominatethissegmentofthedevelopmentIndustry intheUnitedStates!!! Today their legacy remains unchanged - continuingthespiritinthedevelopmentofOhio’slargestamusementpark!!!
Reynoldsburg was founded in 1795 by Archibald Reynolds, a Scottish immigrant. The first settler in the area was John Reid. In 1814, Alexander Reynolds married Anna Holcombe and the couple started a small farm on what is now the east side of town. They also built a log cabin on what is now High Street. In 1821, John Reynolds died and his wife Anna took over the farm and began to grow crops and raise livestock. She also started to build homes in the town. In 1824, she had her first child and moved into a house on Main Street. By 1830, they had six children and Anna decided to move out of town so that they could more easily provide for them. In 1835, Anna's brother-in-law James Pritchard bought her land west of town from her father for $1 per acre. James Pritchard named his land Reynoldsburg after his late father Major General James Pritchard (1758-1825). He donated it to the township in memory of his brother Alexander Reynolds who had died in 1814 while serving in Mexico City as an aide to President Andrew Jackson (1800-1865). In 1840, Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) was born in nearby Springfield Township, about two miles away from Reynoldsburg on North Side Road (now creamery Road). After graduating from Harvard Law School in 1830 he moved back East where he became one of Ohio's most successful lawyers. Unfortunately something inside him always led him towards politics which finally paid off when he won election as US Congressman from Illinois as part of the Whig party during reconstruction – making him one of America’s earliest political celebrities! When Johnson took office as President in 1913 he appointed Mr Lincoln’s nephew George Wohlstetter as Secretary of War with responsibility for Southern Reconstruction legislation – this event would later be commemorated by Mount Vernon Cemetery adjacent to Washington DC where Obamas bury their presidents! After many years living outside of Ohio due to farming problems there were some changes made when Reynoldstown became an incorporated village: A school was erected; churches were built; entertainment venues such as a theater were opened up; businesses got larger with grocery stores being added along with post offices etc.; services like plumbing, electrical work/maintenance etc., began being provided by professional companies such as those mentioned earlier becoming available through self employed individuals or evenampsiiktiemen who did all this work themselves but often shared profits with their helpers
