In 1867, Piqua, Ohio was founded by George Stephenson. The town was named after General Anthony Wayne who had won a battle against the French in 1763. In 1902, the Ohio State Game Commission bought 3,000 acres of land near the present-day city of Toledo and built a park called "The Manchester Park." In 1948, The Cleveland Browns moved to Cleveland from Baltimore and changed their name to The Browns. On October 15th of that year The Browns played their first game in what is now known as FirstEnergy Stadium. On November 9th of that year The Browns played their last game at Municipal Stadium before moving to FirstEnergy Stadium. Over the years there have been many changes to how binoculars are used. Piqua, Ohio is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio and the county seat of Paulding County. The population was 26,890 at the 2000 census. It lies along the Muskingum River between Dayton and Akron, about 35 miles (56 km) north of Cincinnati and 50 miles (80 km) south of Cleveland. The name "Pqua" is Delaware Indian for "place where everything is green." The first Europeans to visit what is now Piqua were French traders who landed in 1534 on the present-day National Road that runs through Dayton and Akron. In 1796, General George Washington's army fought its way through Piqua while campaigning against revolutionary forces in central Ohio. On October 25, 1803, President James K. Polk made Piqua his temporary capital after moving westward from Pittsburgh during the Great American Rebellion. In 1817, when Cincinnati became an independent republic under James K. Polk as president, Piqua became its permanent capital with Congress passing a resolution designating it as such on February 5th of that year by joint vote of both houses of Congress; this action was also ratified by Ohio Governor John Atherton on February 12th following a special session convened to effectuate it. The Professional Army Academy located in downtown Piqua has been continuously operated by West Point Cadets since 1862/63 when Fort Wayne cadet trainees began attending there for two years until West Point closed their doors due to financial constraints within Military Academies nationwide during World War I; however cadets from other United States Military academies continued attend classes at PTAs throughout those years until they were discontinued all together in 1937 due to budgetary reasons). In 1907-1908 there was extensive construction taking place near downtown which included new blocks on Lincoln Avenue including one called "The Wall", soon becoming known as Armory Square because so many guns were built here including over 100 cannons dating back to Revolutionary War era! This represented an important milestone as Armament Square would later become home to several government agencies including the Canton School District No 1 Library (founded in 1909), Municipal Court Building and police headquarters before being combined with City Hall beginning around 1915/16 thereby creating what is currently known as Public Works Headquarters Complex which fronts Fourth Street east of First Avenue just south of University Circle; this complex includes various departments such as Streets & Roads Department responsible for developing and maintaining streets throughout town while Environmental Services provides water services municipally while Fire Protection provides fire protection for all buildings within city limits plus emergency response services for any incidents occurring outside city limits which include Code Enforcement activities executed by sworn sheriff’s deputies assigned thereto) . This process continues today with many agency consolidation or relocation taking place over time making Public Works Headquarters Complex one OF THE most complex buildings ever constructed inside or outside OF AMERICA!!

Piqua is a city in and the county seat of Paulding County, Ohio, United States. The population was 54,813 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Akron Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first Europeans to visit what is now Piqua were French fur traders in the late 17th century. The area that would become Piqua was settled by English farmers in 1811 after General James Wilkinson's invasion of Ohio. In 1817, a group of settlers from nearby Athens formed the nucleus of what would become Piqua Township. The township was named for Captain John Quincy Adams' home town on the Scioto River in Massachusetts where he had been born in 1773. In 1825, whenAdams died at age 83 years, his estate passed to his son John Quincy Adams III who renamed it "Piqua." The City of Cleveland annexed portions of Piqua Township on November 3, 1896. The population reached 50,000 by 1910 when Cleveland annexed all but one block east of Canal Street (the remaining block became Public Square). That year also saw the founding ofwoodbury-paulding bank which still operates as a community bank today with over $200 million total assets including certificates and notes account
In 1812, Piqua was founded by a group of Ohio pioneers. The town was named after the battle of Piqua between the United States and Mexico.
