They were followed by English Settlers from London in 1802 and also by Germans from Weimar, Germany in 1814. The town of Piqua was founded on November 15, 1824 by a group of local farmers led by Senator John Fenton as an agricultural center on the Scioto River between Dayton and Xenia. Piqua became an independent municipality with its own government on January 1st, 1907 when it amalgamated with Xenia to form the Dayton‑Xenia Municipal Corporation. On July 5th of that year voters approved a proposition to change its name to Piqua because it had been called "Queen City" too often since its incorporation as an unincorporated community. That name stuck until 1912 when it changed again to "Mahoning Heights", after then Mayor James Aiken's home town south of Cincinnati - he had moved there while serving as mayor of Cincinnati's inner ring suburbs). In 1915 Mayor Jock Mahoney renamed the city after General George Armstrong Custer - another namesake for whom Mahoney had served as military governor during World War I. The post office at 4331 Nanticoke Rd., which opened in 1911 became operational through renaming itself "Cleveland" effective February 6th 1922 - one day before what would become OHQR Corp.'s creation effective March 3rd 1922 which was originally just called Cleveland Private Storage Company Incorporation No 122218) In 1931 due to lack of business Cleveland merged into OHQR Corp., becoming their corporate headquarters until 1974 when they relocated back to downtown Cleveland under new management under current CEO/President Rick Snyder (Rick Snyder would later be elected Governor of Michigan and become one of Trump's cabinet members). During his time at OHQR Corp./Cleveland Headquarters Rick Snyder modernized many aspects including but not limited to: addition of state-of-the-art technology including fiber optics access; expansion into international markets; development and installation/configuration/maintaining desalination plants across America; acquisition or development/operations purchase or lease totaling $1 billion worldwide; establishment or continued operation (included) OFW Medical Group Incorporation with focus on wound care services.)

Piqua, Ohio is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio and the county seat of Paulding County. As of the 2010 census, the population was 21,722. The city was founded by General Andrew Jackson on July 4, 1813 as part of the Insurrection Treaty following his victory at Battle of New Orleans that year. It was named after an Indian chief who had been killed two years earlier during a military expedition against the Miami tribe near present-day Piqua. The first settler in what would become Piqua was John Bowen in 1814. In 1827, William Ralston built a log cabin on what is now Main Street and named it "Ralston's Landing". He also bought 160 acres (70 hectares) east of town from Nicholas de Courcy for $1 million dollars (€870,000). That same year, James Wollaston bought 1/4 mile (0.6 km) south from Ralston along US 34 to build a home and Store on what became today's Market Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets. By 1830, Wollaston had developed an overall plan for the town including churches and schools; he also started construction on what would be called Riverwalk Avenue which connected all streets within Piqua center with a grand avenue running perpendicular to Main Street NEI
