Perrysburg is a town in Perry County, Ohio, United States. The population was 5,868 at the 2000 census. The name of the town is derived from the Perry family, which settled there in 1795. The first settler in Perrysburg was Nicholas Perry and his wife Hannah. They built a cabin on the hill above present-day Western Avenue and named it "Hannah's Cabin". George Washington stopped by their cabin on his way to Williamsburg in December 1794 while on his way to campaign for president against John Adams. In 1802, Nicholas Perry Jr., died leaving two sons: George Washington (1798 - 1865) and Nicholas III (1802 - 1881). In 1806, General Andrew Jackson moved cattle and mules to this area from central Kentucky during the Great American Invasion of Mexico. This event is celebrated annually by conducts a drive through the community of roughly 350 people who walk or ride bicycles around Jackson's old stockade where he spent three nights before crossing into Mexican territory. Nicholas III sold land adjoining his father's farm near modern-day Goodrich Road to George Waring in 1826 for $4 per acre ($40 acres today). Waring donated this land to the city of Cleveland as part of its original public square concept. Goodrich Road ran along what is now Lorain Avenue between Cleveland Heights and Ironton Heights until 1928 when it was widened into an expressway called I-980/I-271/Route 805 (now US 20). One reason why Goodrich Road became so important was that it connected Harrison Township with downtown Cleveland; other roads traveled east-west only within township boundaries. When I-980 opened up in 1928, good trade routes were available southward from downtown Cleveland via Arlington Township which included parts of today's Perrysburg village including Broadway Drive and Goodrich Road north across Union Lake then west along US 20 out to Erie County where Plattsburgh lies today. In addition, one could travel north down University Circle onto Euclid Avenue beyond Youngstown State University before travelling east back up Euclid onto Main Street again northeast past Stroudsburg Area Community College into Erie County . Today many businesses located off main streets are no longer viable without Interstate access because Interstate 680 has cuts through our town center eliminating most business Opportunities

A more common design for rifles was developed in the early 1800s using a system called “ comb work”. This involved having two circles that fit into each other likewise as if they were two eyes on a head, with one circle centered over your eye and one circle around your shoulder. By looking through this combination of circles you would be able to line up your shot and hit your target with ease. In 1871, George Armstrong rifle company patented what is now known as “ windage adjustable rifle sight” which allowed shooters to adjust both magnification and focus while still seeing their target clearly at all distances from it. This allowed shooters to shoot effectively at long ranges without having to worry about parallax problems caused by changes in elevation

Perrysburg is a town in Franklin County, Ohio, United States. The population was 5,951 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton–Middletown, OH-KY Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town was founded in 1800 by General George Braddock and named for John Perry, an early settler. The first post office was established in 1803. In 1825, the name of the town was changed to Perrysburg after General Andrew Jackson's victory over Native Americans at Battle of Fallen Timbers. On July 4th, 2008, Perrysburg celebrated its 375th anniversary with a parade and fairgrounds celebration.
