One such business owner was Solomon Northrop who moved to Ohio Valley after leaving New York City during the revolutionary war to start a new life as a farmer/gunsmithsman (today known as Northrop Grumman). Northrop soon discovered that he could produce high quality rifles at an affordable price thanks to advances in metalworking techniques pioneered by his contemporaries such as George Stephenson at Manchester forge fame – these weapons became known as “Northrop Guns” because they were made entirely out of metal rather than wood or leather like many earlier rifles! Northrop’s success pavedthe way for other entrepreneurs to enter into gun production throughout much of America including John Moses Browning who relocated from Connecticut just prior to launching his famed Remington Arms Company – today one of America’s most wellknown firearms companies! Perrysburgh continues its long tradition as a center for firearm manufacturing today with major productions taking place at two facilities: The old D’Anno Manufacturing plant on Main Street where handguns are still made today while also producing ammunition; and The Northrop Grumman Ammunition Plant on Liberty Avenue directly across from the old High School which now houses offices space related to firearm manufacture while also housing museum exhibits about local gun culture

Perrysburg is a town in Medina County, Ohio, United States. The population was 10,539 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Columbus metropolitan area. The first permanent settler in Perrysburg was John Booth in 1798. He platted the town on land that he had bought from the Lenni Lenape Native Americans. The town name was chosen for its location on High Street adjoining the existing village of Perrysburg and lying within a mile of both villages. In 1810, Perrysburg became a part of what was then Delaware Township (now Cuyahoga Heights). In 1814, it became an independent township when it severed from Delaware Township to become Medina Township proper. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , all of it land. As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 9,711 people, 3,813 households, and 2,912 families residing in the township; out of which 24% had children under THE age OF 18 living with them, 39% were married couples living together, 12% had a female householder with no husband present, and 61% were non-families. 43%of all households were made up of individuals and 15% had someone living alone who was 65 years old or older. After the war, many residents left Perrysburg for jobs in Detroit or Cleveland because of competition for jobs in post-war America.
Perrysburg was founded in 1795 by a group of farmers who named their community after George Perry, an early settler. The town grew rapidly during the 1800s and reached its peak in population in 1820. However, the Panic of 1837 caused a significant decline in business activity and development within the community. Perrysburg eventually declined further until it ceased to exist as a municipality in 1907.
