Over time, various improvements were made tobinoculars such as greater resolution, longer focal length, more comfortable eyeglasses, increased range of operation, adjustable magnification and waterproofing. In 1899, Patent #1,848 was granted to George Sylvester Weaver for a new type of astigmatic contact lens used with telescopes. This invention allowed people with poor vision to view objects at a much greater distance than they could before. It also opened up new opportunities for Telescopes by making it possible to see things at high resolutions near the ground while still having plenty of detail aboveground. In 1932-1933 Hamerick & Sons produced what is believed to be the world's first true electronic reflex telescope using an open-air mirror mounted on a tripod with two lenses each side of an opening in front of a metal drum used as a focusing screen. The instrument was able to resolve objects three times their size when operated outdoors! In 1935 Edwin Hubble developed hisHubble Telescope which used a very large evacuated crescent mirror that gave him unprecedented views into space! In 1939 America set out on World War II with President Franklin D Roosevelt ordering all American industry geared towards providing military equipment that could detect Nazi Germany’s submarines without detection signals being sent back home! Although effective during wartime these devices were soon replaced by radar technology after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor! This technological advancements throughout history have led us today where we are today; enjoying incredible views from our backyard or inside our own home thanks to some amazing pieces of technology called binoculars!

Pataskala is a small town in Stark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 5,927 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Akron Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community was platted in 1837 by James Bicknell and others as Old Pataskala Township. The name comes from an Indian word meaning "patchouli" or "wild onion." The first settler, John Fenton, arrived in 1850 and named his farm after his friend and patron saint: Patrick Kavanagh. In 1854, James Bicknell donated land to the township for a schoolhouse and cemetery. By 1870, there were nine families living in the town. In 1896-97, two new schools were built; one forgrades students into grades 1-8 and the other serves high school students from 9-12. In 1907-08, Pataskala annexed what are now Midhurst Township and began to build a downtown area on what is now its east side that included four blocks of commercial buildings (the current First National Bank building still stands). Downtown Pataskala also included six homes belonging to local businessmen who raised money for various civic projects such as construction of a new courthouse and city hall which were completed during this time period. On July 1, 1912, when parts of Stark County became part of Summit County due to the creation of that county by state law following the cession of Cleveland Heights to Warren County,[1] much of downtown Pataskala reverted back to local control with only streetlights remaining from when it was under Summit County jurisdiction[2]. In 1957-58,[3] work began on expanding Interstate 680 northward through Stark County towards Mahoning Valley as part of Highways 401/421/440 westward connections between Akron suburbs

Pataskala, Ohio is a small town in Stark County, Ohio. The population was 727 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Akron-Canton, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settler in Pataskala was George Washington Carver who came to the area in 1839. He built a cabin on the banks of the Cuyahoga River and named it after his home state of Illinois. In 1840, he married Justina Wickwire and they founded a homekeeping business together which they ran until their death in 1865. Their children, Emma and Charles Carver, took over the business when their parents died. The Carvers were active members of the Methodist Episcopal Church and developed an extensive agricultural empire which included several thousand acres (1 km²) of land near Pataskala proper. The town was incorporated as a village on December 1, 1892 by vote of its citizens; it remained an unincorporated community until it became part of the Akron-Canton metropolitan area on July 1, 1997. It has experienced steady growth since then with a population increase of more than 20 percent each year from 2001 to 2010. Today, Pataskala is known for its wide variety of cultural attractions such as its annual arts festival (Pataskala Folk Festival), its large Farmers Market every Thursday morning from early spring through late fall., its rich literary history including two Pulitzer Prize winners (Alison Bechdel and Toni Morrison), and for its many excellent restaurants including Joe's Pizza & Pasta (), Zabar's (), Lenny's Barbecue (), Parma Pig Butcher ()and Morehouse Cafe ().
Pataskala is a census-designated place in Clark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,591 at the 2010 census. The area that is now Pataskala was first settled by the Mahoning River Indians in the late 18th century. In 1812, James Kappner built a cabin on what is now State Route 431 east of town. By 1830, there were 10 settlements in and around Pataskala. In 1836, the U.S. government established The Miami and Erie Railroad through Clark County to reach Cincinnati; Pataskala became part of this railroad company's station district. In 1881, John Ahern bought land east of town from the Mahoning River Indians for $1 million (the price at which land had been offered for sale since 1792). Ahern founded The Ohio National Bank in Pataskala and developed it into one of Clark County's largest banks. In 1907, he sold his share in the bank to Wm Fenton Forrester Jr., who renamed it The Ohio National Bank Corporation. Forrester served as its president until his death in 1951. The name reverted to Forrester when he died without heirs and was succeeded by his son Wm Hoyle Forrester III
