The Holster Works continued to operate until 1978 when it was passed on to its current owner, Mr. & Mrs. John Wertheimer of Eaton Township. The Wertheimers have been running the business since 1978 and continue toproduce high-quality holsters for both self-defense and target shooting purposes.

The company produced holsters for a variety of handguns including the Colt Model 1903, Smith & Wesson Model 644, and Remington 870 rifles. In 1924, the North Ridgeville holster company merged with the Dayton holster company to form the Dayton Holster Company. In 1948, the Dayton Holster Company merged with Rangeman Leather Holdings Inc. to form American Holster Corporation. American Holster Corporation produced holsters for a variety of handguns including the Glock 26, Ruger SC9 pistol, and Beretta 92fs handgun. The company closed its doors in 1997.
North Ridgeville, Ohio is a small city in the U.S. state of Ohio that straddles the border of West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The population was 5,763 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Akron–Middletown, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. North Ridgeville owes its name to the ridge that bisects it, running east-west from north to south. The first settler in what is now North Ridgeville was George Washington who built a log cabin on what is now Delaware Avenue in 1792. By 1801, when North Ridgeville became a town, there were nine buildings in all and only four people living here. At that time there were no schools or churches in this area so citizens gathered together to build one themselves with help from friends and family members. In 1810 Joshua Hargrave founded Hargrave & Company which operated a store and post office for about 10 years until his death in 1827. His son Edward took over the business after his father's death and ran it until 1865 when it closed down completely due to lack of customership (the first post office had been opened just two weeks earlier). Two years later Elfreda Sellers opened her own store on what is now Court Street downtown which continued to be open until 1907 when she died suddenly without any children born to take over her business; it then passed downhill through several families before being bought by James Ahern in 1925 who operated it as an ice cream parlor until he sold it assets back into public hands in 1978-1979. In 1868 John Prentice laid out a wagon road across what are now Delaware and Court Avenues northwest of where today’s courthouse stands; this single mile long path remains today as US Route 422 which runs concurrent with PA Route 22 between Northridgeville (in West Virginia) and Akron (in Ohio). This wagon road provided access for farmers coming into these areas from both directions; during World War II more than 20 trucks loaded with foodstuffs passed through this intersection every day! Today you can still see some evidence of this early transportation infrastructure such as a large sign that still stands near where current US 422 intersects PA 22 near the interchange known locally as "the Gap". In 1896 local resident Addison Witherspoon donated land for incorporation into what would become North Ridgeville Township; at this time township boundaries were based primarily on location rather than population because most people lived within their home townships rather than moving away forties or fifty years! residences started popping up along High School Road west of where present-day University Boulevard sits while other streets such as Park Drive Extension west of town square also got their start around this time including those currently standing on top of former quarries (eastern edge of town square). Early development included homespun stores, restaurants and general stores catering to farmers markets northeast/southwest of town limits - something not common anymore but very much appreciated back then! One example is The Grange restaurant located next door to Hadley School on High School Road which began serving lunch around 1954! During prohibition era residents did not have to worry about drinking alcohol since all liquor sales went through nearbyapproaches like Greenhills Liquor Store! Although distantly related - many residents grew up spending summers at family member's housesKaren Whitehead's grandparents farmnorthwest of town - playing checkers or going swimming each day while mom cooked dinner! Most recently - Target has moved into town square displacing longtime pizza place Little Italy although pizzas will still come out once again soon enough courtesy Of Pizza Hut!!Today Northridgeville boasts many businesses including three banks: Wells Fargo Bank, Citizens National Bank & Trust Co.,and FirstEnergy Corporation Head Office.)Smaller businesses include dog walker Bob's Dog Walk located southeast corner Main Street & Read Road while larger businesses include Myriad HealthCare Solutions LLC.,Pizza hut Inc., Andover Furniture mall., JW Marriott Hotel amp Residence Inn Columbus!!!!

The name "Ridgeville" is thought to be derived from the ridge of hills that form the town's eastern border. North Ridgeville was founded in 1811 by John Dutton and others as Petersburg Township. It became part of Columbiana County in 1819. In 1827, it was made a separate town under the name of North Ridgeville. On March 14, 1830, it merged with neighboring towns Dover and Norwalk to form what is now called North Ridgeville-Dover Township. The first settler in North Ridgeville-Dover Township was James Covington.
