There are also several large companies whose presence helps define this community including Dewey’s Sporting Goods which opened up in 2003 and now employs over 200 people across four locations inside/outside of town limits; PNC Bank which has been headquartered here since 1967; Berea Development Group which owns numerous properties within walking distance of downtown; and Ford Motor Company’s Youngstown Plant where they developed their popular Focus model starting production in 1984
