In Miamisburg, Ohio, the Gun Takedown Team (GTT) has been taking aim at shotguns for over 50 years. The team is made up of volunteers who participate insite target shooting with rifles and handguns. The GTT provides an opportunity for people to experience target shooting in a safe and controlled environment. The GTT’s mission is to education park visitors about the history and use of firearms in America by hosting Tri-ennial Gun Targets events that are open to the public. Each year, the GTT hosts a variety of events including 3-gun matches, pistol tournaments, rifle tournaments, shotgun tournaments, as well as classic target frameshooting contests. Gun Takedown Team members have participated in many Tri-ennial Gun Targets events throughout the years and have had a great time meeting all of their participants and teaching them about American firearm history!

Miamisburg is a small town in northeastern Ohio, United States. The population was 5,829 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton–Cincinnati–Urbana, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. Miamisburg is located on the southern edge of the Greater Cincinnati area and straddles both sides of the Ohio River. The town was founded by colonists from New England in 1795. Miamisburg first appeared on maps as "Maidstone", but it was changed to its current name in 1804 when James Kapp bought land here and donated it to the community for development. In 1830, David Dillard erected a gristmill here which still stands today. The mill continued to be used until it burned down in 1865. Miamisburg had a post office from 1810 to 1836; it later became an independent village under state administrative control until 1975. The Village of Miamisburg was renamed Dayton on February 14, 1975, following the merger of three villages in that area: Springfield Township (now Covington), Delaware Township (now Fairfield), and West Side Township (now Medina). In 1920, Miamisburg established an agricultural center around its sawmill complex known as "the Strip." This industry ceased operations after World War II due to competition from more efficient mills in nearby Dayton and Urbana. However, sporadic production continues through small-scale processing plants located near downtown Miamisburg since then. In recent years there has been a push towards redevelopment of what were once rural areas into mixed-use neighborhoods with retail/office space along one or two blocks while residential dwellings remain scattered throughout most blockscape areas surrounding downtown core where restaurants/bars are frequently locate next door to large shopping malls/electronics stores etc...
