Marysville is a small town in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,622 at the 2010 census. In 1907, General Electric began construction on its large electric power plant adjacent to what is now the Village Green shopping center; this facility eventually became known as GE Power Plant Park (). The Town Council quickly erected a high school and baseball/softball fields nearby before permanent housing could be developed. After many years of experimentation with various types of electrical equipment located within easy reach of residents' homes, GE finally opened its first commercial outlet inside an outbuilding on Elm Street near Clinton Street on November 3rd 1922 (). At this time (and for many subsequent years), Marysville had some distinction as being one of America's leading areas for home-generated electricity generation (). When World War II began there were few places available to servicemen living off base; therefore much Ofc Ordnance Housing was built here which still stands today! Most notably are "Navy Cut" barracks which can still be seen from Highway 83 just south side Ofc Ordnance housing area & from where all sortsMilitary vehicles would pull into these yards when needed

The community developed rapidly due to its location at the junction of several wagon roads and its access to water resources. By 1830, Marysville had a population of over 1,000 people and by 1840 it had increased to 4,000 residents. During the American Civil War (1861-1865), Marysville played an important role as a supply point for General Ulysses S. Grant’s army moving northward through Ohio. On October 15th 1861, General Grant’s forces reached MarysVILLE after routing Confederate troops at Battle Creek Bridge over the Cuyahoga River near Dayton. Aftermath of that battle saw more than 25% of Confederate artillery destroyed including many cannons captured from Fort Mifflin in Harrisburg PA After the war ended, many Americans returned home andMarysville slowly recovered throughout Reconstruction period which lasted until 1870 when cash crops replaced agriculture as the primary focus of town growth In 1970-71 there were only 10 residents living inMarysburg while 5 miles west lived Terre Haute Indiana native Tom Landis who started production at his new coal mine . landis would later be elected mayor twice with term ending in 1978 In 1984-85 there was significant development with construction beginning on replacement of all street lights with LED’S within 2 years followed by expansion into new buildings such as library/school complex which included renovations to old brick building Today there are about 100 residents living within its limits; however much like any small town there are some constants – such as Church Street being lined with Toy Story characters – that make life here unique for everyone . education is key here; one resident recently announced plans for a high school campus next door which will bring more students and jobs into town . even though things can be tough sometimes (like last year’s snowstorm) everything comes back around because love always wins
