Ammunition history in Lyndhurst, Ohio can be traced back to 1851, when the first cannons were brought over from England. Ammunition production began here in 1864, and the town's first rifle was made in 1865. The townspeople soon startedimporting ammunition from all over the country. In 1907, a factory was built hereto produce artillery shells. Ammunition production continued until the early 1960s when it was phased out because of dwindling resources. Today, only a few small businesses continue to produce ammunition products in Lyndhurst.

Lyndhurst, Ohio is a city located in the southwestern corner of Cleveland County, Ohio, United States. The population was 32,824 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Greater Cleveland Metropolitan Statistical Area. Lyndhurst is bordered by Euclid to the east and west and Lake Erie to the north. The village of Lyndhurst was founded in 1837 as a small farmstead on what is now Agricultural Rd. What would become Lyndhurst was developed primarily as an agricultural town with mills that operated from 1845 until 1922 when it became a city under the name of Cleveland. In 1928, when Lyndhurst became a city again, its incorporation included land reclaimed from Sandusky Bay which had been part of Sandusky Township since 1814. At first only men could own property inLyndhurst but this changed after annexation in 1932 with women also becoming landowners. The current day City Hall was built in 1956 and has served as its home ever since. In 2011, Lyndhurst ranked 10th out of 20 municipalities in terms of per capita income according to Forbes Magazine's "Best Places To Live". This same year also saw it earn accolades for being one of America's Top 10 K-12 Towns for proficiency in math and reading skills according to National Assessment Of Educational Progress reports released by U.S Department Of Education

The first metallic point projectiles were created in the mid-17th century by Nicholas-Jacques Conte and Christophe de Montgolfier. The first successful firing of powder weapons took place at Fort Ticonderoga on July 4, 1775, by Lieutenant Colonel George Washington. Most early guns used smoothbores which could be reloaded using large rounds made from smooth stone (or other hard substances) that had been put into a cask, such as oakum. As time passed and different arms became better suited for certain calibers of projectiles (adamantine for artillery), new types of cartridges were developed. In 1847 Charles Goodyear invented the goodyear bullet which has become well known throughout the world today. This bullet was designed to expand upon impact to provide greater damage than earlier round designs

Lyndhurst is a small town in northeastern Ohio, located on the Muskingum River. The population was 1,883 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Cleveland-Akron-Canton, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first resident of Lyndhurst was Alexander Campbell in 1795. The village was organized in 1812 and named for General John Lyndhurst, who had led a brigade under George Washington at the Battle of Fallen Timbers. In 1828, it became a separate town and continued to be so until its annexation by Cleveland in 1912. In 1870, Wm. Hatton opened a nursery and garden near Lyndhurst's main square. This attracted many residents to the new community that grew up around the horticulture business and development of rural farms within commuting distance from downtown Cleveland proper. By 1900, all but one house in town were rented or sold with gardens or other agricultural activities providing most economic livelihoods for nearly everyone living thereabouts except perhaps a few select families who farmed out their land to others across the river or developed summer resorts on high ground elsewhere nearby while still keeping some ownership stake in their original home village setting back then as now - an example being "the Parsonage" still extant today but used mostly as storage space today instead of actual living quarters (complete with period furnishings) due to overwhelming demand for recent conversion/renovation over more than 20 years since first puttingtered along much more modestly managed/operated holiday cottage type setting originally which included only 2 bedrooms + one full bath w/ shared kitchen & dining area - complete lack of modern amenities including air conditioning & water softener when we last visited less than 10 years ago! Today's Lyndhurst is founded on farming families who continue to provide important services essential to their local economy such as groceries shopping for their own needs (still done mostly kinetically), daycare provision for children ages 0-18 and adults age 65+, auxiliary services like firewood collection/storage (a rarity these days), fox hunting seasons occurring annually during late fall thru early spring months when rates are highest; hosting country music shows at various local venues each year beginning Labor Day Weekend typically culminating with dinner dancing afterwards outdoors just past midnight cherry Blossom time & sometimes featuring fireworks display effects both before & after show thanksgiving week feast day evening; maintaining close knit relationships with neighboring communities especially Muskingum Township where several churches serve as social clubs meeting monthly inside larger auditoriums located thereon offer plenty of opportunity do lots of things together including golfing (& likely other sports also) outside during warmer weather evenings along well designed trails leading into township park adjacent thereto; generally quite active public official affairs taking place hereabouts which includes: representation on village board through appointment oftentimes resulting from nomination received by resolution passed by regular vote; election Committee chairmanship ending suddenly upon expiration term held then followed by next longest serving member appointed thereby continuing office thru next unexpired term provided no successor sought or elected fro absence; voting rights available unto any adult male inhabitant thereof duly registered therein at least 21 years old owning real estate within unincorporated boundaries subject thereto during periods stated hereinabove whenever required or desired irrespective of political affiliation - something unheard Of These Days Hereabouts Anyhow Lyndhurst began hosting country music shows starting Labor Day weekend back in 1984 which culminated with dinner dance afterwards outdoors just past midnight cherry Blossom time every year thankgiving week evening!
Lyndhurst was founded in 1810 by John Lyndhurst and his family. The town became a village in 1851, and then a city in 1907. In 1922, the city merged with the neighboring village of Wooster to form Lyndhurst-Wooster.
