The history of gun chokes began in Lancaster, Ohio in the 1800s. At that time, pistols were primarily fired with one hand while the other was held up to the muzzle of the gun. To prevent the person firing the pistol from being shot by themselves, a Gun Choke was invented. This device consisted of a long piece of metal or wood that was inserted into a stock on a rifle or shotguns and then threaded through the barrel. The choke prevented the shooter from losing control of their weapon and causing it to fire accidentally.
There are a variety of ways that gun chokes can be used. The most common way to use a gun choke is to place the muzzle of the gun against thevictim's mouth and use an upward pressure on the barrel so that the air pressure inside thegun causes the victim's tongue to get stuck in his or her throat. Other types of gun chokes include usingthe grip of a firearm to choke someone else, placing something around someone's neck (a noose)or using multiple fingers to suffocate someone. Gun chokes can also be usedas part of a circuitous suicide plan by trapping an unsuspecting person under furniture or at home with only one finger available to release them when they least expect it.

Lancaster, Ohio is a small town in the southwestern corner of Ohio. The population was 7,554 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Lancaster County and part of the Akron-Canton, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first Europeans to visit what is now Lancaster were Native Americans who hunted animal game in the area. In 1795, Englishman George Washington passed through Lancaster on his way to Yorktown and named it for General Sir Arthur Lee, who had commanded British forces during the American Revolution. In 1803, General James K. Polk traveled through Lancaster on his way from Fort Wayne to Cleveland and called it "the most important riverine point in this section." In 1824, when George Stephenson built the first locomotive in America at nearby Mentor, he named it after Colonel George Lancaster (1768-1848), an aide-de-camp to William Pitt the Elder and one of Britain's greatest engineers of that period. The town became unincorporated territory of Summit County until 1898 when it became part of Ohio State as a result of statehood legislation. Lancaster experienced rapid growth following World War II as millions poured into steel production and its many mills produced products such as automobiles and munitions; however population growth has slowed since then due to suburbanization and other factors affecting central Ohio economies elsewhere within the United States. Despite this recent slowdown in population growth rate, there are plans by city leaders to annex more rural land east of Interstate 476 for housing development which could have a significant impact on local economy should this plan come about reality

In 1847, Nicholas-Jacques Conte designed a rifle muzzleloader that incorporated a metal ring fitted around the barrel that restricted airflow inside the magazine well so that only rounds fired from outside it could be loaded (this type of firearm is also sometimes called a "pumpkin necked rifle"). It was not until 1903 when American inventor Charles de Gaulle developed his gas operated lever action shotgun which featured an adjustable stock allowing users to adjust how much air is allowed to enter and fire shots while loading or unloading them (this type of firearm is also sometimes called a "suppressorgun"). Since then, various other modifications have been made to firearms including those incorporating chokeholds for handgun shooting.

In 1827, Lancaster became one of the two towns in Perry County when that county was created from part of Butler County. Lancaster's growth continued until after World War II when it reached its peak with a population over 10,000. However, since then it has slowly been declining due to various reasons including losing out on government contracts and becoming less accessible due to distance and traffic bottlenecks. Today there are only around 1,500 residents left within the city limits of Lancaster proper while most activity takes place outside the limits such as education or research institutions inside the larger town boundaries

In 1813, the United States Census reported that Lancaster had a population of 10,521.In 1836, the first railroad reached Lancaster and it became a important transportation hub. The community prospered until the 1930s when heavy industry shut down and poverty took hold in the town. Since then, Lancaster has undergone several changes including becoming an educational center with multiple colleges and universities within its boundaries The town's economy shifted to retail sales after Walmart opened up in 2005.
