Jardine & Gibbs would become one of the most well-known grocery stores throughout Northeast Ohio for their wide variety of products including groceries, meat, dairy products, breads and pastries as well as clothing and general merchandise items such as books and toys. Unfortunately for Jardine & Gibbs owners Harry Jardine (1859-1941) and Edwin Gibbs (1863-1952), they would face closuremultiple times during their tenure due to competition from larger grocery stores such as Kroger or Safeway across the street at 11th Street/State Route 9 North). So much interest developed around this issue that commissioners were appointed to negotiate treaties with local tribes which granted squatters access to abundant water sources without having to sell any land back into British hands

Greenville was founded in 1792 by John Green and his brothers-in-law, Jacob and Samuel Hardesty. The town became a center for the production of agricultural goods, such as potatoes, corn, beans, and tobacco. In 1814, Greenville was made the county seat of Columbiana County.
