In 1892, Landon Manufacturing Company began making shotguns in Greenville using an old cannonball socket method for manufacturing barrels. Shotguns continued to be produced at this company until 1907 when it merged with Wesson Firearms Corporation to form Wesson Firearms Corporation & Co., Incorporated (WFC). In 1907, WFC introduced its first pistol which became popularized as the Browning Automatic Pistol (BAP) due to its light weight and low recoil. Over time, other calibers were added to BAP including .380 ACP and 9mm Luger handgun shootingshells for protection against rivals or law enforcement officers who may attemptto seize their weapons without warning or consent

Greenville is a city located in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2010 census, the population was 51,821. The city was founded in 1803 by Nicholas Green and named after its naturalized Belgian community, green Ville (City of Greenville). In 1825, Greenville became part of what is now Dayton Township. It lost its status as a municipality in 1907 and annexed the town of Brownstown in 1912. The population reached 71,786 by the 1990 census but declined to 50,821 by 2000. The population again declined to 47,023 as of the 2010 Census; however, this figure may have been due to annexation by neighboring Cincinnati since then. The first Europeans who came to what is now Dayton were French traders and missionaries who established trading posts along the Great Miami River between 1795 and 1805 AD. When Ottawa Indian Chief Tecumseh learned about white settlement near his traditional hunting grounds on the confluence of the Scioto and Monongahela Rivers in 1796-97 AD he warned his people not to cooperate with or trade with British colonists because they were "inferior beings." However, some early settlers decided that land at present day Dayton would be an ideal site for their colony because it was swampy and difficult to cultivate due to lack of trees or other natural resources nearby. By 1800 additional settlers had arrived from Indiana Territory via canal which connected Toledo with Kentucky through Detroit Lakes before reaching Dayton permanently in 1802 despite heavy rains that week that flooded parts of central Ohio including much of Dayton Township including Greenville where some residents managed to get away under cover before military units arrived on Sunday morning April 3rd seeking refuge among their kinfolk at Dutch Reformed Church which still stands today within blocks feet (yards) of original structure providing visitors today an excellent opportunity for close up views/photographs if desired! The town’s first courthouse was built on Second Street east side (now High Street) just north or east side (.5 miles northwest from present day downtown), using lumber brought overland from Lebanon Valley ([near]present day Portsmouth]) . A plat for township organization dated November 10th [1825], shows 8 lots included . One lot remained unsold so 2nd lot sold for $3d each according to plat map . This building served as court house until 1907 when new courthouse built on same location opened (now Goodyear Museum). Court sessions took place here during regular business hours only – no jury trials! On May 20th [1860], vote taken at school board meeting resulted in approval “to change name To Greenville” & incorporated into village form effective June 1st following reorganized school board meetings held May 25th thru 28th inclusive & approved resolutions adopted therein setting forth minutes thereof: Election results reflected popular sentiment & changes were made accordingly;Village Of Greenville charter granted September 11th 1860 Greenville prospered thro’out Civil War - becoming one Military camptown like many others across country
