It is with great sadness that we report the passing of rifle scopes historian, Donny Ziegler. Donny was a passionate collector of rifles and scope parts, and his knowledge of rifle optics was second to none. He will be missed greatly. Donny's collection began in the early 1960s when he became interested in rifles and scope parts for his own use and also for his family's collection. Over time, Donny amassed an amazing collection of Rifle Scope Parts and Accessories, many of which are still on hand today! His collection has been invaluable to shooters all over the world and he will be sorely missed.

In 1886, sporting goods company Leupold introduced their own version of this scope called the Leupold V-1 which featured an adjustable reticle and Corrector tube that permitted users to adjust windage and elevation without taking off thescope altogether. Some notable Rifle Scopes from this era include: Lewis & Clark Mosaic (1876), Meade 3X (1911), Weaver Model 8 (1913), Browning BAR (1916), Hi-Power Pistol Scope (1924) etc.. Throughout these years there were numerous advancements made in optics technology that allowed for even greater magnification levels and improved clarity within individual scopes. In 1951, Nikon Corporation Introduced their very well known 4X Barlow Zoom Rifle Scope which would become synonymous with high quality sniper optics worldwide! This scope offered higher magnification levels than any other available at that time while still maintaining excellent clarity throughout its range making it perfect for precision shooting tasks such as target acquisition or aerial combat photography! Today’s riflescope designs continue to incorporate features specific to today’s firearms such as illuminated reticles or image stabilization systems in order provide even greater accuracy when taking aim downrange!

Girard, Ohio was a small town in northeastern Ohio until the mid-19th century. Girard's history can be traced back to 1792 when it was founded by David Girard as a post office and store. The first settler in what is now Girard was Isaac Chamberlain, who arrived in 1805. In 1827, John Ritchie moved to Girard from Steubenville, Ohio and began to change the community's name to honor his friend and mentor, Jean Baptiste Rousseau. The community had been renamed for Rousseau only one time before its incorporation into the United States in 1912. Girard enjoyed a period of prosperity during the early 19th century due to its location on the natural gas Pipeline that connected Cleveland with Indiana and Kentucky. However, this prosperity came to an end after Gaskell erected a toll road through Girarde which caused economic decline. In 1851, Girarde became part of Holmes County when it was formed from parts of Stark and Shiawassee counties. This ended up being a bad decision because it increased population growth but did not allow for proper management of the county infrastructure which led to many problems such as inadequate roads and schools. Eventually, Holmes County broke away from Holmes County Union in 1861 due to financial irregularities within that organization. The population of Girarde decreased gradually throughout most of the 19th century because most residents worked on farms or provided services within Holmes County rather than leaving for more prosperous opportunities elsewhere within America. With increasing international competition during this time period, however, some residents decided that they could no longer support their farmer friends and family living outside of town so they began moving back inside town towards the late 1800s where they would maintain their businesses while also enjoying greater social opportunities outside of townspeople’s homes (Fletcher). Eventually though, with advancements made in transportation during World War II and other Economic Development initiatives which brought about new jobs in rural areas across America (Doyle), much progress has been made since then towards restoring lost economic stability and opportunity at least partially at least within nearby Girarde Township (Lench). Consequently today there are business owners/workers who have invested significant time into maintaining various aspects not just of their businesses but also their physical environment including regular maintenance/repair work on major arteries like State Route 58 which skirts around downtown girarde; landscaping; Numerous art exhibits taking place monthly inside municipal building as well as several annual festivals throughout township calendar; numerous cultural events taking place all year round both inside Municipal Building as well as out near village green; nearly everyone knows everyone else hereabouts good enough not too mention hosting basically any type gathering large or small without prior invite anywhere near Main Street - less than 5 minutes walk from Municipal Building etc.; making screwing around outside your door virtually impossible notwithstanding grade school educated kids trying hard enough sometimes
