This unique facility used pressure vessels to recycle water from local streets into potable water In 1984–1985 Pfeiffer partnered with Siemens AG to develop an automated welding equipment manufacturing process known as Direct Metal Welding or DMW which led to creation of Alcoa Aluminum Corporation (now aluminum company) In 1988 Siemens left Alcoa to become GE Power Electronics Division permanently integrating all Siemens' metals armaments businesses into GE . However due to antitrust violations proceedings initiated against GE by United States government regulators this integration failed . As result Alcoa sold off all its metals businesses including DMW operations in 1990-1991 leaving only ENGIE divisions still operating separate since then inside GE In 2000 GKN plc merged with Babcock & Wilcox Plc becoming Royal Dutch Shell Group plc currently GKN plc

The county was organized in 1815 and Fremont became the county seat again in 1817. The population of Fremont peaked at over 10,000 in the early 19th century, but declined during the late 19th century as transportation improved and immigration increased. In 1899, Fremont was renamed Cleveland after newly founded Cleveland, Ohio.
