In Forest Park, Ohio, there has been a gun magazine in operation for over seventy years. The first gun magazine in the area was established in 1887 by six men who purchased land adjacent to the now famous Forest Park Rifle and Pistol Club. The original location of the club was on Monrovia Street, just off of Third Street in downtown Cleveland. The rifle and pistol club moved to its current location on Elmwood Avenue, just east of I-225, in 1917. At that time, it was one of the largest sporting organizations in the area. It operated out of four buildings that were located on diverse blocks within Forest Park: Elmwood Avenue between Euclid and Fifth Streets; First Street between Euclid and Sixth Streets; Second Street between Euclid and Seventh streets; and Third Street between Euclid and Eighth streets (now part of Downtown Cleveland). In 1951, the rifle and pistol club leased an abandoned building located at 201 N High St., which became their new headquarters. In 1965, it leases an additional building located at 233 W High St., which became their new showroom/office complex. Militia members also used this complex as their barracks during World War II. After repeal of prohibition in 1933, a number of speakeasy businesses opened near where the old rifle & pistol clubhouse currently stands. So rapid was this growth that by 1937 there were sixteen speakeasy bars within three miles of Forest Park proper! In 1938 a large garage with five stories was built behind what is now the library onto which they could hurl all manner of munitions including riflesights etc... This structure served as their main armory until 1957 when they moved into their present facility on Elmwood Ave.. Here they continue to operate with only minor changes except for major renovations throughout the years including replacement or addition of a loading dock (1975), expanded storage (1994), renovation/refurbishment (2002)…. Since then they have increased production capabilities adding both an online store(2007)and e-commerce capabilities(2013). They are Ohio’s oldest continuously operating gun magazine!

However if you regularly shoot 1000+ rounds per month(3 times per week), then purchasing an 8Round mag would be more appropriate. Forest Park is a community in the town of Findlay, Ohio, United States. The community was formed from the merger of two other communities, Bethel and Arlington Heights. The name "Forest Park" was chosen because of the park that once occupied part of the site. Forest Park is located on a hill overlooking the city of Cleveland and its river valley. The first settler to arrive in what is now Forest Park was John Taggart, who arrived in 1795. He built his home on land that he purchased from the Wyandot Indians. In 1805, Taggart married Mary Morse and they started a family. In 1811, he bought 640 acres (248 hectares) of land east of Cleveland which he called "Taggart's tract". He used this land to establish a sawmill and farmstead known as Taggart's Village. After several years of hard work, John Taggart sold his tracts to various individuals and families until he developed what is now Forest Park into an agricultural society with mills, churches and homes. In 1844-45, Andrew Johnson became President of the United States and founded Arbor Day National Monument in Cleveland to celebrate America's national tree day. On October 10th each year since then, people can visit Arbor Day at any point across America to see American trees up close! At one time or another every major American city had an Arbor Day parade or festival! For example: Cincinnati (1892), Detroit (1906), New York City (1913), Boston (1920), San Francisco (1927). Aboriginal peoples were present throughout much early Ohio history including Lake Erie Iroquois Confederacy member Fox De Witt who lived near forest park for over thirty years beginning in 1795 when he migrated from Canada
Forest Park was founded in 1892 by James A. Mellon, who donated land to the city for a park. The park was dedicated on July 4, 1893. The first park commissioner was George Stephenson. In 1934, the city merged with Cleveland and Forest Park became part of the new Cleveland metropolitan area.
