Forest Park, Ohio is a town in Holmes County, Ohio, United States. The population was 3,827 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland metropolitan area. Forest Park was founded in 1871 by Daniel Boone and named for his nephews Forest and Park. The first gun-choke devices were invented by a man named John Brown in 1841. He patented an invention called the "Browning Automatic Rifle" which used a cartridge that would be pulled back to fire automatically when squeezed into place within the weapon's magazine. This type of gun choke was also known as the "Broomhandle Gun Choke." It became very popular with military snipers because it allowed them to shoot without having to take their time reloading their rifles. However, this type of firearm choke was not available to civilians until after World War II due to legal restrictions placed on firearms by both the US government and international treaties outlawing firearm chokes. In 1955, two brothersnamed Clarence Eppsand Leroy Cookdeveloped what is now know as "Fowler Gun Choking Technology" which improved upon Hughes Gun Choke technology by allowing round objects (such as bullets) not located inside of the barrel yet still trapped within its magazine(e.g., shotgun shells)to be fired automatically using a plunger device inserted into an opening at one end of the muzzleloader's tube while the wielder held onto a wire frame grip at another end similar to how handguns are currently designed and operated

The current mayor is Mike DeWine and the City Council is made up of nine members with three seats coming up for election every year- six at-large seats and one mayoral seat which is open to anyone who files nomination papers no later than November 3rd The history of Forest Park can be traced back to when John Dallenbach started trading goods near what is now known as Elmwood Cemetery on July 30th.,1836 according to his journal entry for that date Dallenbach named his new community "Fruitvale", but it quickly gained popularity due to its natural setting - surrounded by rolling hills covered with trees within minutes walking distance of each other - as well as its close proximity to downtown Cincinnati In 1837, Cincinnati paid $5 per acre (.50 cents per square foot) for 1/2 mile (0.80 km²) east of Main Street (now Second Avenue) along what are now Elmwood Avenue and North High School Road leading into Forest Park; this land then lay vacant until purchases were made from Wm Hite & Bros., Jno Bolen & Sons, James McNaughtney in 1886 In 1863, when Cincinnati annexed Forest Park from Knox Township it also added land west along First Avenue including today's Elmwood Cemetery . This annexation created much controversy because many residents saw it as taking away their rights to live there freely without compensation The first Mayor of Forest Park was Aiken Swayne who served from 1865-68 Under Mayor Swayne's leadership development efforts were initiated such as creating a fire department which would become one of the largest in Ohio During his tenure various parks were established such as Bowman Field where baseball games would be played until 1925 and also Bellefontaine Fields which housed a large public pool while located just northwest corner off Third Street across I-75 now home to PNC Arena
