The company continued to make hammers until the early 1970s when production ceased due to lack of demand from consumers. These guns used a hammer called a “claymore”hammer which could pierce through NATO’s steel barrel walls with ease. Shotgun barrels also utilized specialized hammer types known as “pincushion”hammers which would not pierce NATO's steel barrel walls but instead just start inside them and then crush out the top section of the barrel (known as an “extractor”). This caused some problems for shotguns which required new barrels be made with thicker walls in order for the old claysmores to function properly. While this technology remained in use until after World War 2, it was eventually replaced by rifle barrels utilizing a different hammer type known as an impact wrench or simply an Impact Hammer

Findlay, Ohio is a town in the United States. The population was 20,812 at the 2010 census. Findlay is located on the Scioto River and is part of the Cleveland-Akron-Canton, OH metropolitan area. The first permanent settler in what became Findlay was John Cook in 1790. At that time, it consisted of only a few homes and a small stream. In 1801, James Caldwell donated land to make up for an error made by Congress when they numbered the states. This donation included 3 square miles (9 km²) of present day Findlay Township which then included all of modern-day Euclid Township as well as parts of Akron and other townships in northeastern Ohio. In 1803, Christopher Clough purchased additional land from James Caldwell for $1,000 cash plus 10% interest per year until paid off or until he sold additional land to pay off his original investment. This gave rise to what is now known as The Clough Purchase Site Historic District which covers much of eastern Euclid Township along with portions of today's Park Hill neighborhood on behalf of Christopher Clough II who bought it from his father-in-law in 1865 for $5,000 more than he had paid for it two years earlier! On July 16th, 1825 – just four months after becoming President James Kelleher’s Calumet County Treasurer – Thomas Fenton erected a large frame store and warehouse on Main Street called “Fenton” which served as the town post office from its inception until 1917 when it was moved to Prospect Avenue due to building regulations at that time prohibiting buildings over 50 feet (15 m) tall! From this location mail reached far into Cadillac County including most central Lima and Youngstown! A second store opened on Fourth Street south side near State Route 8 about one mile east of present day Main Street in 1830/31 by Elijah Strong also serving as village constable under Kelleher before becoming Justice Court Clerk later that same year; it closed circa 1840 due to lack of business !! A final store opened across Second Street west side approximately one half mile northwest corner lot line (now home to Masonic Hall) about 1850 by Israel Arbuckle ½ block north east corner lot line - this store burned down soon afterwards !! Additionally located inside current day First Baptist Church building are 2 large warehouses built about 1870/71 belonging originally either to Arbuckle or Strong ??? There have been several major development throughout these years viz: 1) addition & renovation / expansion & alteration / additions etc., 2) annexation/incorporation etc., 3) plats & street addresses changes etc.? Incidentally starting around 1890 such brick buildings continued being used (& still are used for various purposes including storage by local farmers w/sewage recycling services provided), 4) numerous churches were built contemporaneously??? By 1860 however "Fenton" had long since disappeared leaving only its memory behind…. Today only foundations remain???
