The T-shirt company "O.R.G." was founded in Findlay, Ohio in the early 1920s by Ozzie and Harry Rosenberg. They started out making wrestling t-shirts and later added firearms to their line. The Rosenbergs sold their business in the late 1940s to a group of brothers named Meyerowitz. In the 1950s, they bought back their old business name and continued producing firearms t-shirts under that name until around 1970 or so when they switched to using "Findlay Firearms" as their primary brand name.
Findlay is a city in the United States. The population was 24,738 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Findlay County. Findlay is located in central Ohio on the Allegheny River, just south of Pittsburgh and north of Cleveland. The first humans to live in what became Findlay arrived around 1000 BCE and were probably hunters and gatherers. In 1814, when Colonel John Cranch purchased land east of present-day Findlay from the Shawnee Indians, he named it after his home town of Highland Park in Scotland – one of several Scottish settlements which had been established along the Great Lakes region during this time. In 1827, a group of settlers founded the town of Bellefontaine on land that would later become part of Fort Hill Township. In 1830, Bellefontaine was renamed for General David Dixon who served as commander at Fort Pitt in Cincinnati during the American Civil War (1861-1865). The townsite was surveyed by James Kapp and laid out into blocks by George Stephenson on December 15, 1830. At that time there were only eight homes in Bellefontaine and forty-six people lived there; however, within two years all but four homes had been destroyed by fire or weather while construction continued on new ones elsewhere in town. By 1840 only twelve homes remained; however, because so many people lived nearby Hopkins Mansion and other public buildings such as schools (Bellefontaine School opened its doors for instruction on November 12th , 1840), local businesses soon prospered with goods coming downriver from Pittsburgh to be sold here at low prices before being shipped back upriver again to be sold even cheaper still further downriver at docks where boats unloaded their cargo onto barges which then took them downstream to lumber mills or other processing plants throughout downtowns across North America including Pittsburgh Most residents worked outside their homes doing tasks such as farming or manufacturing products needed for everyday life like shoeshine boots or flour until 1850 when an elevator garage began servicelifting heavy loads up to Market Street where they could be delivered directly to customers’ doors In 1870 wagon trains carrying agricultural commodities arrived here daily bringing produce direct from farms near Detroit Michigan via Canfield Dam which then led directly to markets all over Ohio including Cincinnati & Dayton Although freight rates varied greatly depending upon destination these days most farmers still hauled goods upriver rather than using wagons making Findlay one of America’s earliest industrial cities

Findlay, Ohio is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 33,635 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Cuyahoga County. Founded in 1814 as a small town on the site of what is now downtown Findlay, it became an important commercial and industrial center during the 19th century. In the late 19th century and early 20th century it experienced large-scale growth due to its location near America's manufacturing centers and its status as a center for education.During World War II, Findlay played an important role in the production of munitions and other war materials. Today it is home to several major companies including Alcoa (the largest metal manufacturer in North America), Jardine & Noble LLP (a global law firm), and American Glass company (now part of GE). The history of Findlay began with a group ofaversons who set out from Akron in 1814 to find new land for farming after their village was destroyed by fire. The settlers were led by James Denton and built their first house on what is now Market Street in 1815. In 1820 they founded the town of Findlay on land that they had purchased from John Dickeson Jr., then one of Cleveland's leading landowners. The town grew rapidly and by 1830 had a population of over 100 people. By 1840, however, there were only 10 residents living in Findlay proper while 1,000 people lived nearby on farms that stretched along present-day Market Street and westward into Beaver Creek Valley.
