Since the late 1800s, Fairview Park has been a popular spot for shooting enthusiasts in Ohio. The green and wooded area is home to several ranges, including one that features a 9mm pistol range. It was also once home to a large hunting colony, which allowed shooters to take advantage of its powerful rifles. TheFairviewPark Rifle Range began operating in 1905 as part of the Ohio Agricultural Experiment Station. Today, it's one of the busiest shooting ranges in the state and is used by both novice shooters and experienced gun owners alike. In addition to its 9mm pistol range, the facility offers an 18-gauge shotgun range, a 10-gun rifle range with multiple platforms (including an AR-15), three 30-round magazines for handguns (.380ACP through .45ACP), and two 25-round magazines for shotguns (.410FPS through .12GA). In 1955, Fairview Park became part of the USDA Experimental Station at Athens National Laboratory. This left it open to civilians as well as hunters who could now use it for target practice and testing new equipment. Over time, other agencies have joined the USDA Experiment Station at Athens National Laboratory - most notably OSU's College of Veterinary Medicine - making this one of the most diverse shooting ranges in The Buckeye State.

Fairview Park is a town in Columbiana County, Ohio, United States. The population was 3,021 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Toledo metropolitan area. The town of Fairview Park was platted in 1836 and named for Colonel James Fenton Fairview (1784-1845), an American Revolutionary War veteran and founder of Columbiana County. The first settler to arrive in what is now Fairview Park was John Sibley in 1837. In 1840, General David Coffee arrived with his army and founded the village of West Liberty on the southern edge of FairVIEW PARK. coffee's Fort Dearborn served as the first permanent U.S. military post in Northwest Ohio Territory and remains standing today as a National Historic Landmark. In 1860, after much violence had been perpetrated by residents against each other during the early years of settlers' occupancy, General Anthony Wayne built a road from Lebanon to Dayton through FairVIEW PARK in order to provide easy access for goods needed for agriculture and commerce within Columbiana County. This move helped solidify annexation by Medina Township into Medina County - one more step towards becoming part of the larger Cincinnati metropolitan area that began forming around 1870 when Cleveland was founded as a result of western settlement following expiration of the Indian Removal Act Of 1830. In 1881, voters passed a bond issue to build new schools withinFairVIEW PARK due to overcrowding in existing schools throughout the township; this issue led to increased public education opportunities for all citizens within FairVIEW PARK beginning around that time period which continues even today with additional classrooms being added onto campus over time including an arts center/theater/conference hall addition completed in 2007 which seats up to 462 people indoors while providing soundproofing options for musicians and theater goers alike! When it became clear that remaining portions of Columbiana County were not going to be annexed into Medina Township any time soon following its incorporation into neighboring Lucasville Township - residents voted on November 15th 1992 (after 10 years without notice) to secede from their mutual Township resulting in what would become known as "The Great Lawsuit" or "The War Within." Residents who remained insidefair VIEW park successfully appealed this decision but ultimately lost because they could not raise enough money from outside investors or sales tax collection efforts - effectively leaving fair VIEW park essentially deserted until recently when redevelopment activity has resumed along US 12 east side bringing back some retail businesses along with housing units near Interstate 270

Fairview Park is a community in the town of Fairview, Ohio, United States. The park was established in 1875 and is named for Reverend John A. FairVIEW, who served as pastor of the First Methodist Church in that town from 1872 to 1876. It has been home to many popular events such as the Kentucky Derby and the Cleveland All-Star baseball game since its creation.
The Fairview Park neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio was developed between 1892 and 1902. The name comes from the fairgrounds which were located on the east side of Fairview Avenue. At its peak, the neighborhood had over 2,000 homes and businesses. It eventually declined in popularity as a result of several factors including annexation by Cleveland Heights, development around the University Circle shopping center, and a lack of public access to recreation opportunities.
