The company had its beginnings in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1892, the founder of Samson Ear Muff Company, Hiram Samson, moved his business to Fairview Park. This place was a busy market place where people could purchase goods such as food, clothing and other items. At that time, there were no public transportation options for those who needed to get around town. So, people relied on horse and buggy or walked because there weren’t any other ways to get around at that time. In 1922, the founder of Samson Ear Muff Company passed away. But his son continued the business until his death in 1951. After Hiram Samson’s death, his son took over the business and changed it into what it is today- the Samson Ear Muff Company Ltd.. Today, this company is still in operation and produces different types of shootingEarMuffs products for both adults and children alike!

Fairview Park is a city in New York County, Ohio, United States. The population was 43,908 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan Area. The name Fairview Park came from a grant by John Fair to be used for public gardens in 1814. The city was established on December 15, 1824 when it was part of the Northwest Territory and became a separate town on February 2, 1830. On April 12, 1836, the City of Cleveland merged with Fairview Park as its second town. The merger created a new government which lasted until 1888 when it was replaced by an enlarged city government under the direct control of the Mayor and Council without representation from any other quarter. On January 1st 1915 Fairview Park had its first fire Department composed of just five men - one truck and four horses! In 1916-1917 they put up two high school buildings (now known as Stadium) on Elm Street which were used as Fire Station #1 and Fire Station #2 during World War I and World War II respectively. In 1935-1936 they also built a Recreation Center now known as Tower Place that serves as the Local Government Services Building today...the original building still stands though not being used for housing anymore due to code violations! Today’s Municipal Building opened in 1959 inside what once housed Tower Place (renamed Gateway Plaza after towers were built nearby). It has been our home ever since!

Fairview Park is a public park in the city of Columbus, Ohio. It was first established in 1872 as part of the then-new Township of Fairview. The park is located on the east side of Manhattan Avenue between Delaware and Elm Streets. The current incarnation of Fairview Park began as a small plot on the west side of Manhattan Avenue just north of what is now State Street in 1872. That year, trustees from the new Township of FairVIEW voted to establish a small park on that site for use by residents and their children. The first sod was laid in May 1872, and construction began soon after. The park's initial land area was only about ; but it grew over time to include present day blocks on both sides of Manhattan Avenue between Delaware and Elm Streets as well as much more territory on the east side including what is now Paulding Square. In 1907, Columbus' first municipal zoo opened at Fairview Park; it was one of several such institutions founded during Mayor John Peter Geddes' tenure (1907-1909). In 1916, Fairview Park became home to Franklin County's first high school; Columbus High School moved into its present building there that same year. In 1937, following annexation by the City of Columbus, FairVIEW PARK became part of newly createdColumbus Municipal Stadium District #1; it continues to be used today by various sports organizations headquartered within or affiliated with that district including USF Buckeyes football team (the stadium has also been home to other major events such astelecommunications industry exhibitions hosted by IBM), Arena Football League's Cleveland Browns (now known as the Cleveland Cavaliers) and Major League Soccer's Columbus Crew SC (now known as MAPFRE Stadium).
