Fairview Park is a small town in Butler County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,813 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Buckeye City–Cincinnati Metropolitan Statistical Area. The name "Fairview" comes from a nearby stream called Fairview Creek. The first settler in what is now Fairview Park was John Denton in 1792. He named his farm after the creek. By 1812, there were about 35 people living in Fairview Township and 5 families on Denton's farmstead. In 1814, John Dearborn bought land at what is now Fairview Park from George Henshaw for $600 dollars. He built a log cabin and named it Dearborn House after himself and his wife Anna Dearborn (nee Pemberton). The first post office was established at Dearborn House in 1826; it continued to be called that until 1840 when it changed its name to FairVIEW Station (). George Whitefield erected a gristmill on the banks of the creek in 1830. It became known as Whitefield Mill because white flour was brought over by wagonloads during the early 1800s trade between Cincinnati and Dayton. When white settlement increased near Fairview Park, millers started to switch to using coal as their fuel instead of wood or militia powder for grinding their corn into meal or flour which then had to be baked into bread or pastry products like cake or cookies). In 1846-47, Abraham Lincoln delivered an address from the steps of Whitefield Mill which has been preserved as part of history on page 1005 of his book "Life Of Abraham Lincoln". In 1870-71, James Aiken purchased land east of present day FairVIEW Park from George Wirtz for $1 million dollars which he titled “Forest Hill” after himself and several family members including his son James Aiken Sr., daughter Fannie Aiken Wirtz Wiley (widow of banker Samuel Wiley), brother Asa Cleveland Wirtz (brother-in-law) and sister Harriet Beecher Stowe Hyde (daughter of abolitionist Susan Blythe Anthony). At this time Forest Hill consisted mainlyof farms valued at around $10 per acre with some buildings such as churches, barns and homes still standing today but many having been replaced by newer dwellings since its purchase including First Methodist Episcopal Church located across US 41 northbound just before exit 116B off I-75 North approximately 2 miles south of current day fairVIEW park where General Motorsonce made their largest product presentation ever taking place inside one room only

Fairview Park is a small, but significant community in the northwest corner of Ohio, United States. It was founded in 1821 by John Fairview and his family as a place for wagon trekkers and farmers to gather during the short growing season.
