Grant during the American Civil War; during that time it also developed into an agricultural center with over 50 cotton plantations In 1915-1920, Englewood experienced rapid growth due to World War I munitions production which increased demand for housing products such as sheetrock In 1959-1964 Englewood lost its status as a municipality when residents voted to join Warren Township (the original township) Warren Township annexed much of what now makes up Englewood including most of Centerpointe development which had been built there since before 1920 However many people still live there today As Urban Village Incorporation proceedings were proceeding through town hall against annexation by Warren Township seeking reversal so that their current boundaries would remain unchanged after merger many people chose to move out into neighboring communities until final incorporation happened creating large tracts vacant within City Limits

Englewood is a city in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 31,521 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Hamilton County. The name originated from Englewood Township and the village of Englewood on the other side of the river. In 1811, John Englewood donated land to create what is now Englewood Township. The first settler in what is now Englewood Township was Nicholas Crouch in 1812. Other early settlers included: William Beasley (1814), Samuel Crawford (1815), James Fenton (1817), and John Smith (1819). By 1830, there were 12 families living in Engle wood township. This growth continued until 1840 when a group of men led by Solomon Davenport bought 1,200 acres near present day Uniontown for $2 per acre. This area became known as Davenport Hill because it was here that they built their mill which became one of the largest in America. In 1841, due to political unrest caused by Andrew Jackson's presidency and his demand for more revenues from states than Congress had authorized, David Siegel purchased 2,000 acres northwest of present-day Uniontown and formed the nucleus of what would become Davenport Heights development withinEnglewood Township limits today. Within two years after purchasing this land, Siegel had demolished much of his original structure including his mill building to make way for a larger mill which he began operation on December 3rd 1841 with 11 workers! The success of this venture allowed him to purchase additional property withinEngelwood Township Limits over time becoming one of its most influential businessmen and Developers! During this time period many churches were built such as First Baptist Church (founded in 1844) and Christ Episcopal church (founded in 1850). Industry also played an important role during this time with businesses such as woolen mills coming online which helped fuel increased population growth throughout these years; however some residents did not appreciate all that new development had brought about while others fought tooth-and-nail against any encroachment on their rural lifestyle or town center character! But all along the way there were strong cohesion among these various groups who shared a common goal - preserving their unique culture and heritage within their community!.
