The proposal passed both houses but not before being vetoed by Cleveland Mayor John Pemberton who felt that included within Ohio's borders would be bad for business reasons On January 10th 1861 President Abraham Lincoln signed Executive Order 9593 which announced western Reserve Act - region east of Lake Erie lay open to settlement with $5 per acre purchase right for Whites only & no Cherokee or other Indian: this area includes present day Delaware County & much eastern Ontario The western Reserve Act allowed settlers from Pennsylvania & New York State (who had already laid claim to most of what is now OH) to enter into treaties with Native American tribes and purchase land east of the Cuyler River without consenting to any European race restrictions In 1862 Congress approved legislation renaming Delaware county after Major General Ulysses S Grant - one of history's most famous commanders during World War I The name change took effect on November 15th 1865 when Grant died in office at age 73 years old Apple Orchard Village was built around 1913 by Cyrus Kapp Sr., who developed 5 acres near where he grew up on Apple Acres Road northeast of Wilmington between Newark Creek and Big Cedar Run. A later parcel added 2 more acres; these gave rise to today’s Plaza Park neighborhood adjacent to Interstate 476 southbound EB lane exit #2A off US 31/Highway 21 northbound exit

In 1912, American scientist Edwin Hubble designed the first moon landing microscope using an instrument called the Huygens Camera on board his Mercury-Atkins research vessel! It became clear that this technology could provide us With unprecedented insights into our universe! Consequently, spotters replaced rifles as main tools for astronomical observation beginning around 1915 when new developments ledspotters into new fields such as aerial photography and radar monitoring!

Today there are few if any residents living in Dover Strait which makes it an ideal spot for windsurfing or kayaking; both activities are popular along the nearly 1000-meter wide estuary that separates Delaware from Cleveland
