In 1949, Dr. Theodore Hirsch designed a more advanced version called "Hirschl" which could be fired using compressed air instead of gasoline as propellant source; however, this weapon never saw production due to technological limitations such as high power requirements and stagnation in military spending during Cold War era

The following year saw heavy rains that caused extensive flooding throughout central Ohio including parts of Dayton but also Cincinnati (which occurred eight days later) which led to development around Bellefonte Street east of downtown; some call this area "the heartland", while others credit it with being one of the earliest suburbs outside Boston or New York City due to its reliable water supply dating back to when streetcar lines were first introduced into central Ohio!

The park consisted of two areas: One with rides including an admissions pavilion, carousel, Fairytale Forest (featuring Sleeping Beauty), Big Top Indian Warthog Mine ride, cotton candy stand and Refreshment Gardens; and another with tents for hire that provided entertainment such as vaudeville shows featuring Christy Moorehead (real name Charles Goodyear), Harry Houdini & His acrobatic show headlined by Lucille Bogan & her equestrian act billed as "The Arabian Nights", racescar demonstrations starring Willy Leyburn & his team de Dion Daytona Cougars topped off by Pageant horse racing finals contested by winners from across Ohio bridges over Ironton Creek before dinner at Maple Leaf Lodge served over barrel-chested Target signalled by bellowing brass horns atop green Tootsie Rolls vans - all within easy walking distance either from homes or businesses on Sixth Street NE or Second Street NE which lined much of what is now University Drive/Broadway during prohibition days
