Centerville, Ohio is home to many firearms enthusiasts who appreciate the history and culture of the firearms industry. The city has a large number of Glock, Colt and Smith & Wesson firearms dealers, as well as gunsmiths who create custom handguns and rifles. In addition, Centerville also has a large amount of historical firearm memorabilia available for purchase or donation. The first handguns in Centerville were pistols made by Smith & Wesson. On October 26th, 1892, two pistols were made at the company’s manufacturing plant in Centerville. These pistols were called the Model 1 and 2. They were both single-shot revolvers with five rounds per revolver. The Model 1 was used by John J. McKinney, an employee of Smith & Wesson at that time. He was responsible for fabricating all pistol models from 1892 until 1923. The second handgun in Centerville was created by Colt Firearms Corporation on November 12th, 1896. This handgun was called the Model 9B Pistol. It had a 7mm caliber barrel and it could fire six rounds per minute using three reloading cycles per round magazine capacity.(1) The Model 9B Pistol was designed to be used as an infantry rifle in war against cavalry units.(2) On July 14th, 1911, Smith & Wesson produced its first semiautomatic pistol with a 10-round magazine entitled the S&W Auto 10(3). This pistol had a long barreled design which allowed it to fire ten rounds per minute using four reloading cycles each round.(4) Of course this gun required purchasing an acquisition permit from the local sheriff’s office! In 1932 Smith & Wesson produced their very first .357 Magnum revolver which they christened the SIG Sauer 357 Magnum (5). This revolver featured a 6-inch barrel that could shoot 357 grains of silver bullet at 3 million fps(6). However thisgun only became popular among law enforcement officers because it fired faster than any other type of handgun then being offered on the market! In 1950 Colt Firearms Corporation produced their very first police officer’s sidearm known asthe M9 (7). The M9fired 511grains lead shot at over 3000 fps(8). It lacked any kind of hammer so it needed to be cocked before firing(9), but it otherwise functioned just like other handguns chambered for .45 ACP (.45ACP) ammunition(10)! However Sig Sauer soon took advantage of this new technology when they introduced their own version of the M9 known asthe SIG P226 (11)! This gun fired 7mm ball ammo at over 2600 fps(12)! It possessed a hammer similar to that found on standard handguns such as revolvers and semi-autos while still cocking manually like most pistols chambered for rimfire ammunition! However it wasn’t until 1968 when Sig Sauer finally released their own version ofthe Browning Hi Power (.380 ACP) whichfired 8mm ball ammoat over 2500 fps! Unlike most other typesof gunfire where power is measured in ft/lbs rather than FPS this weaponFirearm manufacturers have slowly but surely come up with new ways to measure firepower since Rugerphobia began infecting our society back in 1994!!! With today’s technology we are ableto measure firepower not justin foot pounds butin joules too!!!

In 1902-1903, construction began on what would become known as Park Place Shopping Center which became one of Columbus' largest shopping centers ever before its demolition in 2007-2008 due to infrastructure concerns associated with an expanding cityCenter project nearby which would have resulted in increased traffic congestion around Park Place Shopping Center and other areas adjacent to it; however this project ultimately failed to materialize and no blame can be found specifically on Centerville Residents for this development failure (although some blame may have been directed towards developers). Centerville has experienced various economic expansions throughout its history including: being made a center for education during World War II; becoming an automotive manufacturing center during the early years of Motors Corporation; experiencing heavy growth during boththe late 1990s through 2000s as a resultof numerous new businesses moving into town such as Apple Inc., Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company[4], JCPenney,[5], Macy's Department Store[6] and several other large retailers over time; however recent declines have occurred due primarily to lack thereof investment or development initiatives emanating from surrounding municipalities withinColumbus Township namely: Highwood Heights[7], Springboro[8], Franklinburg[9], Willowbrook[10] etc.; while also contributing factors may include more recent increases therein vehicle thefts rates having significant negative impact on local economies both residential and commercial alike due as well upon retail businesses situated near busy intersections such as State Route 236 & I-675 serving industrial customers etc… It should be noted that not all residents withincenterville take pride in its centuries old heritage despite some communities feeling they do not benefit greatly from advances made withinCentervillesphere( although many feel they do) – rather some view centervilleism itself with disdain viewing it largely irrelevant/stale compared thereto similar efforts put forth by certain neighbouring communities either directly or indirectly depending upon each individuals perspective – nonetheless theseJoinersdrew togetherfor purposesofthisreportone central focusrelatedtoCenterville History –albeit colored somewhat differently than most others
Centerville was founded in 1795 by Nicholas Biddle. The town was named for General George Washington and the Battle of Yorktown, which took place in Virginia on October 19, 1781. In 1800, Centerville had a population of 350 people. By 1810, the population had grown to 1,000 people. In 1813, Centerville became a village and was annexed by Akron. In 1830, Akron merged with other towns in Summit County to form the city of Akron. In 1836, Centerville became part of the new city and its name changed to Cleveland. In 1870, Cleveland made Centerville an incorporated village again and it continued to be known as Cleveland until 1921 when it changed its name once again to Centerville.
