Celina, Ohio is a small town located in the northwestern corner of Ohio. The population was 5,302 at the 2010 census. Celina is part of the Cincinnati metropolitan area. The town was first settled in 1813 by Quakers who named it after their ancestor Celina, who had come overland from England. The name stuck and the town developed rapidly until World War II when its population plummeted due to prohibition. Since then, Celina has regained some of its lost population and now has a population of 6,872 as of the 2013 census. The economy is based on agriculture with a few larger businesses including CVS Pharmacy and Marshall Furniture Company making up most of the primary economic sector. Manufacturing continues to play a significant role in the local economy with several companies such as Allied Signal Corporation manufacturing electronic products and components and Owens-Illinois Inc., maker of farm equipment, producing automobiles and other agricultural items. Celina is home to two universities: Northern Kentucky University (NKYU) which teaches about west central Kentucky for students living in surrounding counties or commuting into Cincinnati proper; and Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) which offers degrees in business administration, health sciences, engineering/science/health care studies, education leadership/administration & policymaking, law enforcement/criminal justice management & administrationstration services, information technology & telecommunications marketing& service provision etc.. The main cultural attractions are downtown where there are several restaurants and bars along one side of Broad Street while commercial buildings line another side facing George Washington Boulevard; The Celina Historical Museum on Main Street opposite Pioneer Park; Wesleyan Methodist Church which houses an art gallery specializing in 20th century American painting; also nearby are three community golf courses - Idlewild Country Club near downtown on Idlewild Drive; Apollo Golf Course off White Oak Road northwest of town Limits near Apollo Lake; Sizer Funeral Home adjacent to Wesleyan Methodist Church on North Main Street east of I-74 exit 17B southwesterly towards Dayton Airport.; four baseball stadiums - Olmsted Park Stadiums southeast off I-74 exit 17A northwesterly towards Dayton Airport., Fairgrounds Stadiums northeast off I-474 southwesterly towards Dayton Airport., Great American Ballpark located just outside city limits on Elm Road southwest of town limits.; one professional wrestling show each year - Starrcade Wrestling Federation's "WrestleMania" event takes place at FirstEnergy Stadium inside Paul Brown Stadium adjacent to NKYU campus each year while "Raw" events take place outdoors at Greater Goodway Arena adjacent to SIUC campuses during college seasons.; there are also several video games stores like GameStop across from FirstEnergy Stadium as well as multiple bowling alleys like Bobcats Bowling Center located just outside city limits on Elm Road southwest of town limits., two grocery stores - Kroger Store east off I-474 southwesterly towards Dayton Airport adjacent to FirstEnergy stadium while Albertson's store is located inside city limits next to PNC Arena;; one movie theater - Regal Cinemas east off I-475 northwesterly towards Louisville Slugger Field;; two amusement parks - Six Flags OverOhio midway park situated between Two Rivers Casino Resort east off US 65 westbound past Millvale Mall onto SR 620 northwest out into Ontario County not far from Celina Town Limits;; one theme park - Cedar Point Theme Park located 45 minutes away by car from Celina via Interstate 74 Exit 7A westward into Monroe County

This proposal was met with vehement opposition from Governor Edwin Edwards (D-LA) who said that such measures would lead to handgun confiscation and an increase in crime rates among young adults age 18-24 years old! In response NRA director Wayne LaPierre issued a statement saying "the only way you stop these shootings is if we make it Impossible for these criminals to get their hands on guns." The bill passed but died in committee due largely because powerful interests were pushing back against any restrictions on gun ownership while still allowing children access to handguns

After being moved to Dayton in 1837, Celina experienced several tough years during the 1830s with an influx of new settlers and increased industrial development. Despite this positive trend however, there were some key events that led to Celina's decline during the mid-19th century. The first major event that led to Celina's decline was when Prussia bought land adjacent to the town for military purposes. This caused many people to move out of celinas favorability because they no longer had access to their land or resources. Additionally, another big change that came about during this time was when railroads started connecting different parts of America which made traveling around much easier and allowed businesses more access to customers. This also caused celinas economy to take a hit because it lost access to these new sources of income
