When America entered World War II on April 6th 1941, celinians joined with other American citizens in supporting their country as they went into battle against Nazi Germany. After liberation came on May 7th 1945, many of these veterans returned Home and started businesses such as farm equipment stores and sheet metal manufacturers which still operate today thanks to strong local economies that have been untouched by outside forces such as recession or demographics changes over time
Celina, Ohio was founded in 1817 by John Celina and his wife Deborah. The town was named after General Anthony Wayne who was killed during the War of 1812. In 1834, the village of Celina was created from part of the township. On May 1, 1913, the village of Celina merged with thetownship to form a new city.
