Brook Park was a small town in central Ohio, United States. The population was 6,418 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Paulding County metropolitan area. The first school was opened in 1814 and the first church in 1817. In 1840, Brook Park became a village, but it lost its charter as a result of annexation by Paulding County. In 1860, Brook Park became the site of the battle that resulted in the Union victory over Confederate forces at Perryville; Union General Ulysses S. Grant’s body rests there to this day. The hamlet also played host to numerous military engagements during the Civil War including Battle of Perryville and Battle of Roadstown Heights. Brook Park experienced significant growth following World War II with an influx of veterans and their families who were stationed at nearby Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and other nearby bases. However, post-war prosperity declined after the Korean War ended and job opportunities dried up at these installations; Brook Park's only major industry until recently has been retail trade which has failed to take off since then due to high competition from larger towns within commuting distance. Today, Brook Park is primarily known for its annual Pumpkin Patch event which attractsfolk from all over central Ohio as well as those from surrounding counties; it also hosts agricultural shows throughout October each year on behalf of Paulding County Agricultural Society Inc.; one such show attracted more than 350 exhibitors last year alone!

Brook Park is a residential community in the northwestern portion of the city of Cleveland, Ohio. It was developed in the early 1940s as part of an original effort by developers to racially integrate Cleveland's white neighborhoods.
