The AR-15 upper receiver is a type of assault rifle that has been in use by the United States military for over 40 years. Many factories closed after World War II due to technological advances and increased competition from neighboring cities such as Cleveland and Akron; however, thanks to stimulated development within the city limits (the "inner ring"), parts of Blue Ash have revived as upscale neighborhoods that are now home to millions of dollars worth of retail space and high-end apartments. As one result of its vigorous development over time, BlueAsh has become known nationally for its architecture - most notably its Georgian Revival style buildings which date back to 1892 - as well as its boutiques and nightlife options such as live music venues and restaurants on Main Street near downtown.

Blue Ash was founded by Germans in 1814 as a logging settlement and became an agricultural center after being chosen as site for a new post office in 1825. The first store was built in 1828 and John Hargrave served as its first owner and operator until his death in 1857. In 1861, Blue Ash became the county seat of Warren County following its merger with Lucas County. Blue Ash's history dates back to 1814 when German settlers arrived in what is now Orange County, Ohio from Wexford Township, Ireland on horseback and wagon trains searching for land that had been claimed by both sides during the War of Independence. The town was named for blue ash trees that were found near where it would later be established. By 1830, Blue Ash had a population of around eighty people and consisted mostly of farmers who grew corn, wheat, potatoes and other crops along with hogs and cattle. By 1840 there were over one hundred people living there according to records kept by the local school board In 1860, following Columbus' victory over General George Washington's forces at Battle of Fallen Timbers (also known as Chillicothe), Warren County was created from parts of Lucas County including Blue Ash The first stores opened here include Daniel Sweeny's grocery store which opened August 9th1828 John Hargrave operated this store until his death on October 6th1857 The first post office opened November 1st1825 under name Mayesville peter williams served as Postmaster from 1850-1856
The town of Blue Ash, Ohio was founded in 1812 by Capt. John Dickson and his family. The first settler in the area was James Hutton, who built a cabin on the banks of the Delaware River. In 1814, John Dickson sold land to Jacob Brown for $500. Brown soon erected a two-story house, which is still standing today. He also started a small mill that produced flour and meal for local families. In 1815, Captain John Dickson's son David Fenton purchased additional land from Jacob Brown and started another small mill in Blue Ash. This mill continued to operate until 1888. There were several other early settlers in the town including Alexander Davidson (1792-1851), William Barclay (1807-1872), Andrew Dowling (1800-1868), Isaac Morehead (1796-1878) and Archibald McNaught (1798-1864). The first post office was established in Blue Ash on December 12, 1816 by George Wirtz with the name "Pittsburgh." It operated until 1865 when it was renamed "Blue Ash." The first store opened in 1824 under the name of "John's Store." A general store built by James Hutton became known as "The National" after General Taylor's victory at Minden over Ulysses S Grant on October 15, 1862. In 1830,Captain John Dickson erected a three story brick building at corner of High Street and Lexington Avenue which served as a schoolhouse for students from surrounding villages until 1860 when it burned down due to an arsonist's spree. The second floor housed a grocery store operated by George Stephenson from 1840 until 1861 when he closed shop because of financial difficulties caused by low natural gas prices at that time. In 1865, CaptainJohnDickson erected another three story brick building designed by noted architect Prentice Hall which served as Greeneville County Jail from 1870 until its closure in 1916 due to overcrowding among county inmates during the Progressive period that followed World War I . In 1926 Yellow Brick Road was completed linking Columbus with Cleveland via Blue Ash and four years later saw construction of what is now called State Route 422 going through town center connecting both cities with new shopping malls located along this route
