This event is generally considered to be one of the largest losses ever caused by gunfire in America and it has left a lasting impression on the community.

In 1925, business magnate Charles W. Drake bought all of Clark County for $3 million dollars, which made it one of America's largest counties at that time. He named his new county Bexley after his home town (then called Beech Grove), England where he had grown up and attended college before moving to America to pursue an entrepreneurial career as a steel manufacturer and mining entrepreneur. After annexing other nearby towns such as Newark (nowDayton) and Xenia (now Cleveland), Bexley reached its current population size of 11,814 people in 2000 according to the US Census Bureau estimated figures released that year- making it one of Appalachia's fastest-growing cities over that period due to strong immigration rates from areas such as Mexico City and China among others- especially given its proximity to major metropolitan areas such as Dayton and Cleveland while still remaining within Clark County limits. A number of high-profile deaths have occurred within or around Bexley over recent years including professional wrestler Hulk Hogan; bodybuilder Phil Heath; former Cincinnati Reds player Bob Howry; four astronauts who died on board space shuttle " Atlantis" – Michael Collins Jr., Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin Sr., Neil Armstrong Jr., Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin III; three days after Christmas 2009 two brothers - Adam Lanza & Andrew Lanza - killed 20 children & 6 adults inside Newtown Elementary School near Sandy Hook Connecticut before committing suicide

Bexley is a city in northwest Ohio, United States. The population was 10,569 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Bexley County. The first European to visit what is now Bexley was Nicholas French in 1797. He named it after his birthplace, Beaumont-le-Roger on the English Channel. In 1802, John Trimble donated land to make up part of the town site and built a courthouse and jail. A post office called "Beaumont" was established in 1806, and was renamed "Bexley" in 1824 because of local support for General James K. Polk during the Mexican–American War. In 1850, settlers started arriving from other parts of northwest Ohio by way of Chillicothe and Cleveland; they founded a community called Newtonia around what is now downtown Bexley. By 1860, there were over 100 residents in Newtonia; when it became too small for trading or manufacturing purposes, they moved to what is now the east side of town near where US Route 422 begins today. The first brick building in Bexley was erected here in 1865 as the home of Jno Hahn & Sons bakery (now known as Greektown Pizza). A railroad station was built on this site by 1867 but never used because trains stopped running southward from Dayton due to track consolidation within Dayton itself; however, freight traffic continued through bouts until 1919 when that line merged with the Cincinnati Western Railroad to become part of Amtrak's MilwaukeeDistrict service network. In 1903, Edwin Cogswell laid out an arterial street grid that forms much of downtown Bexley today; he also laid out two parks which are still popular with locals and visitors alike – Menchie Park (named after one of his children) on Market Street between Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue NW and Roosevelt Park on East Ninth Street between Third Avenue SE and Fourth Avenue SW – both these parks remain open year-round despite recent construction projects which have closed portions thereof including Menchie’s playground area during high school’s spring break season! On November 3rd 1906 commissioners voted 2-to-1 not to annex any adjacent townships into Bexley due largely to concerns about water supplies available from those township boundaries - although annexation did follow shortly thereafter without incident! Despite this vote against annexation by commissioners only 12 years later!, most likely due to increased competition from neighboring townships growing rapidly at that time caused by industrial development within those boundaries – annexation occurred exactly one year later on July 1st 1908! This event marks perhaps the most dramatic change ever seen within northeast Ohio's borders as overall no less than 5 municipalities had their populations exceed 10,000 residents by 1907!!! Today many people refer to downtown Bexley simply as "BEXLEY", continuing an older tradition dating back more than a century reaching back before Columbus even set foot upon American soil!!!!!
