Beavercreek is a small town in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,569 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan Area. The first gun target in Beavercreek was built by James Wetherbee in 1825 on land now owned by the city of Cleveland. The first successful shooting match at this location took place on October 3, 1827. In 1868, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Caldwell erected what is still the most popular target range in Beavercreek- a 9-hole course measuring 100 feet by 40 feet with an 8-foot green wall around it for practice purposes only). This well known range has been used to teach children how to shoot since it opened its doors to the public in 1951! Today, there are more than 30 gun ranges located throughout Greater Cleveland providing opportunities for everyone to enjoy shooting sports including firearms safety and Marksmanship training for all ages!

Beavercreek is a city in Franklin County, Ohio, United States. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 30,819. It was founded in 1795 by fur traders and missionaries from the British Empire as part of the Northwest Territory. The city was named after Beaver Creek, which flows through its downtown area.
Beavercreek is a city in theuyna County, Ohio, United States. The population was 21,513 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat ofuyna County and home to the Beavercreek Regional Library. Beavercreek was founded by George Stephenson on December 6, 1814 as a trading post known as Fort George. The Post Office was established in 1816 and named for General John Cranch Beaver (1792-1866), who had commanded British forces during the War of 1812. At first only limited trade occurred at Fort George; however, development of nearby transportation links allowed for an increase in business and population growth. In 1830, Congress designated Beavercreek Township adjacent to present-day yoyna County as part of the new Northwest Territory under territorial jurisdiction. In 1837, when Ohio became a state, Beavercreek became its county seat and remained so until 1889 when it moved to Dayton Valley). As a result of this change in county seat status, most major commercial buildings were built in downtown Beavercreek rather than within its boundaries – including many factories that still operate today such as Alcoa and Rubbermaid. In 1916–1917 much progress was made toward creating what would become modern day Beavercreek by building two dams across the Scioto River: one near present-day Uniontown and one near Woodbury Heights. This work helped improve navigation through creeks and onto rivers with resultant economic benefits for both towns involved along with developing numerous homesites upstream from those dams which remain some of America's most photographed landscapes today! The demolition or relocation of several hundred large manufacturing facilities over the years has caused some loss of jobs but also has resulted in increased research opportunities for businesses within minutes' walk or bike ride of many campuses throughout Ohio including Alcoa's advanced aluminum production site just outside Woodbury Heights now operated by Lake Erie University; GEICO's towering factory tower now houses apartments above GEICO headquarters; Procter & Gamble's former starch plant remains operational as a wastewater Treatment Plant – providing jobs for dozens local workers while also preserving valuable cultural artifacts associated with that company’s heyday dating back to 1920s! Additionally recent construction projects have begun around downtown include renovation/updates to Uniontown library which provides access not only inside but also out into downtown annexed by Beechcroft between Second Street NW - home to retailers such as Sears -and Third Street NW -home to governments / agencies like OHIO State Fairgrounds (formerly called “Kuhn Auditorium”) ; redevelopment underway on Fourth Street NE corner Third Avenue NW serving students at Youngstown State University adjacent thereto into 3 stories tall high rise apartment blocks complete with underground parking garage !! etc etc... each project resulting significant economic benefits for Downtown Beavercrike residents.......Today Downtown Beaver Creek retains much original architecture from its early days while newer structures are being erected reflecting changing needs/ wants of current occupants !!!

Beavercreek is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio, located on the Scioto River. The population was 13,814 at the 2010 census, up from 12,882 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Cleveland–Akron–Canton Metropolitan Statistical Area and is included in the Akron-Canton-Newark Combined Statistical Area. Beavercreek was laid out in 1814 by Peter DeWitt and others as a small trading post on the Scioto River between Cleveland and Akron. The name "Beavercreek" was given to it by General Anthony Wayne in honor of British general Sir John Beaver who had helped America win independence from Great Britain in 1776. The first settler in what would become Beavercreek was David Silliman, who arrived around 1800. He built a cabin near what is now Third Street and Euclid Avenue and named his farm "Silliman's Crossing." In 1801, James Caldwell arrived with his family from Pennsylvania and founded Caldwellsville on land that he purchased from Silliman. He named his property "Beavercreek." The first school in what would become Beavercreek was established in 1815 by Reverend George Hines at what is now Sixth Street and Springboro Road. In 1830, Daniel Webster set up shop at Seventh Street and Springboro Road as a justice of peace before moving to Canton two years later for health reasons. In 1840, William Crawford opened a store at Third Street and Meridian Avenue called Crawford's Corner Store after himself or his father (George Crawford). By 1850, there were five stores operating along Third Street between Meridian Avenue and Springboro Road; all but one were closed within fifteen years because of economic decline or fire.* In 1851 Wm Troup started selling groceries door to door from an old wagon stop on Third Street opposite First Presbyterian Church beginning an onslaught of grocery stores throughout downtown Akron which continue until present day*! By 1865 there were sixteen grocery stores operating within three blocks of downtown Akron! A new era began when electric streetlights went into service Downtown Effective December 15th 1865!!!* This ushered in an era where shopping could be done during evening hours making Downtown much more vibrant !!! With this increase came increased automobile traffic which collided with pedestrians * causing many deaths* resulting initially from businesses not having proper signage warning drivers about potential dangers waiting outside their doors !!! Many people attribute this Crash to Daylight Savings Time which caused most accidents during that time period*! However another factor may have been alcohol being heavily marketed during that time period as transportation options improved
Beavercreek was founded in 1789 by General James Robertson and his wife, Deborah. Beavercreek became a town in 1834 following the establishment of the Ohio Central Railroad. The town's first mayor was John H. Roach. Beavercreek had three high schools, Beavercreek Academy, Beavercreek High School and Butler Technical Institute until 1959 when it merged with Muskingum County Schools to form Muskingum Valley Community Schools.
