In Beachwood, Ohio, there is a history of firearm t-shirts. The Shirt Shop was started in 1955 by the late Mr. JohnnieWright who owned and operated the shop until his death in 2018. It was then passed down to his son, Johnnie Wright Jr., who continued the business until his passing in 2019. The Shirt Shop has been serving customers from all over Cleveland since it’s creation. The shirt shop started as just a small storefront on Winton Road in downtown Beachwood. In its early days, they only sold T-shirts and not any firearms or ammunition. However, they quickly became known for their quality and customer service which helped them remain in business for over sixty years! Today, the ShirtShop remains one of Beachwood’s most popular tourist attractions with visitors coming to buy unique shirts that reflect their local culture and history. One of the earliest firearm t-shirt companies to open up shop in Beachwood was Second Amendment Clothing Incorporated (SALI). SALI was established in 1957 by two individuals who were passionate about helping preserve America’s Second Amendment rights. In 1896, the Ohio state legislature passed a bill making it illegal to purchase any firearm without a license from a sheriff or magistrate. This law went into effect on July 1, 1896
Beachwood, Ohio is a small town located in the Miami Valley region of central Ohio. The population was 5,496 at the 2010 census, making it the smallest town in that area. It is part of the Cleveland-Lake Erie metropolitan area. The history of Beachwood goes back to 1821 when Nathaniel Beattie and his family purchased 8 acres of land near what is now Beachwood from John Fetterman for $2 per acre. At that time, there were no towns or villages in this area and it was a rural frontier community. Beattie named his new settlement after himself - "Beachwood" became an abbreviation for "Nathaniel Beattie Settlement". As beachcombers and farmers began moving into the area in the early 1800s, they constructed small cottages alongshore on high banks overlooking Narragansett Bay. In 1826, when Athens County was created, Beachwood became part of it and its first courthouse was built on Main Street. In 1861, as Cleveland grew rapidly due to industrial development in nearby Cuyahoga County, Beachwood saw an increase in residents streaming into its small town center from surrounding villages and farms. The commercial district around Main Street quickly morphed into a lively business district which continued to grow until about 1920 when automobiles made travel more possible and general shopping relocated to larger malls across the country. Despite this growth spurt during the1920s and 1930s - other than a few scattered homes here and there - most people who lived in BeachWood either worked or attended school within walking distance or drove to work every day via Ferry Road (now West Shore Boulevard). By 1950 only 6 percent of all residents lived inside their own village while almost 60 percent resided outside of downtown Cleveland proper; by 1990 only 2 percent did so while almost 60 percent lived within 1 mile radius of their homes! Bordered by Euclid Avenue on one side and West Side Boulevard on the other – with access through several busy streets including Broadview Avenue (now Clinton Avenue) – Beachwood has always been one pragmatic little town trying hard to keep up with global trends both economic AND social! Many businesses have closed over time but many others have thrived thanks largely to Ocean Spray's largesse which continues today! Today’s Mayor Pro Tem is Lillie Mae Brownlow who took office January 1st 2019 after serving as Deputy Mayor for Economic Development since 2018!

Beachwood is a town in Preble County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,521 at the 2010 census. The unincorporated community of Beachwood is located within the town. The first post office in Beachwood was established on July 6, 1836, by George and Anna Beattie. It was renamed Parkersburg on February 15, 1837. The first store in Beachwood was built by James Hickey in 1839. The townspeople began to build their own homes in the early 1840s. In 1850, there were only a few dozen people living in Beachwood; however, by 1860 there were over two hundred residents. In 1870-1871 when the railroad came through Beachwood and changed the name of the town from Parkersburg to Beachwood (later shortened to "Beach"), many of the original home owners sold their properties and moved away because they could no longer pay for property taxes that had increased tenfold since they last paid them. BeachWood's growth continued during World War II when many locals served in military or government service as part of Allied forces fighting Nazi Germany or Japan. Many beachfront businesses became wartime industries such as boatyards, shipbuilding and naval stores; some continue today as local businesses while others have been converted into condos or apartments. The post office closed on December 31, 1954; however it reopened on January 2nd under new management with John Pritchard as Postmaster until his retirement on May 30th of that year In 1957-1958 four new schools were built: Spring Hill Elementary School (), Goodrich Elementary School (), Neptune Middle School () and Cedar Vale High School (). As school buildings were constructed throughout Preble County then hand-me-downs from previous generations ceased to be an issue so after those years most everyone who wanted one received one even if it had been vacated by someone else due to lack of use or just change of ownership since then most current beachhead property has been purchased either through condemnation proceedings or annexation proceedings which take place every five years now thanks mainly to zoning changes enacted following global warming hysteria . As mentioned earlier recent zoning changes have resulted in more apartment conversions along with other types of development such as strip malls/mall theatres being built almost everywhere once again pushing out small business owners causing quite a bit of concern especially considering how much easier it would be for these developers not only to obtain permits but also receive financial assistance usually provided through tax breaks which often result in even more conversions thereby worsening conditions for smaller businesses
Beachwood was founded in 1829 by Captain John Beech and his family. They arrived on the Ohio River from Maryland and began a small farming community that soon became a major port on the Great Lakes. In 1835, Beachwood was incorporated as a village. By 1870, it had become an urban center with over 200 residents. The city of Beachwood grew rapidly during the last decade of the 19th century and reached its peak in population in 1915 with over 4,000 residents. However, due to economic factors such as manufacturing closures and population growth within Cleveland City Limits, Beachwood's population declined thereafter until reaching its current level of around 1,500 residents in 2000.
