The club has hosted many rifle and pistol matches over the years and currently operates three ranges - one for standard calibers (9mm, .45ACP) and two for magnum calibers (4x39mm and 20mm).
Beachwood is a small town in southeastern Ohio, United States. The population was 2,898 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Akron-Canton, Ohio Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first Europeans to arrive in Beachwood were white settlers named James and John who founded a cabin in 1792 on land that later became Beachwood Township. In 1803, Samuel Weiser claimed land east of present-day Beachwood Township and laid out a town called Weiserville which included much of what is now Beachwood Township. By 1807, most of what is now Beachwood Township had been organized as beach townships with their own post offices and schools. In 1824, George Washington Carver moved his family to what is now Beachwood from Cleveland, Ohio and established the first grocery store in America in what is now Beachwood Township. The business continued until it eventuallyclosed its doors for good in 1925 due to Depression-era economic conditions. During World War II many patriotic Americans fought for their country both within and outside the military by working at various factories and businesses located in or near Beachwood township including Pabst Brewing Company (now Pulte Corporation), Allyn Rubber Company (now Heidenheim AG), Chrysler Corporation (now Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) and General Motors Corporation (now Chevrolet). Many residents also volunteered their time playing roles such as driving Allied forces into battle during World War II or manning radar stations during the war effort. When the war ended, many plants closed but some remained open like Pabst Brewing Company which continued operations until 1967 while other companies such as Allyn RubberCompany folded after 1945 although they left behind extensive local archives which are visitor attractions today known as Allyn Museum Districts Incorporated>. In 1892, Beachwood annexed part of neighboring Liverpool Township and changed its name back to Beachwood Heights. In 1924, Beachwood became a city and has since grown into one of the largest cities in Ohio with over 200,000 residents. The city is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, culture, and arts scene.
