The company continued to produce and sell scope mounts through its affiliation with Weaver until 1998. From then until 2003, Vortex Optics Corporation (Vortex) was the exclusive importer and supplier of Weaver scope mounts for use on rifles and shotguns in the United States. In 2003, Vortex merged with Remington Arms Company to form what would be known as Remington Outdoor Company. As a result, Vortex ceased production of Weaverscope mount products in favor of their own line of products called "Remington 700 Line", which continues to this day.
Aurora, Ohio is a town in the U.S. state of Ohio and the county seat of Erie County. The population was 21,971 at the 2010 census. In 1881, millionaire Andrew Carnegie donated land adjacent to his railroad depot for use as an industrial park; he named it Carnegie Institute after himself. This area today includes much of north side east side of town along Canalside Drive between Elmwood Avenue (now Griggs Road) and Southgate Boulevard (now West Side Highway). Over time businesses moved out towards this development but some remained until they were replaced by other companies or closed down by Forstmann-Lloyd Company during World War II when industry shifted to war-time production plants outside Cleveland because there were no new factories available in America then! By 1960s Aurora had lost much of its manufacturing heyday but still boasted its namesake shopping center with over 100 stores including Sears Roebuck & Co., JCPenney & Co., Montgomery Ward & Co., IBM etcetera; banks such as Citizens National Bank ( predecessor to current Wells Fargo), Community Trust Company (later part of First American Financial Corporation) - founded 1888 - Rapid City Bank (1896), United States Steel Corporation - formed 1915 - Parkersburg Savings Bank - opened 1933 - Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company plant which closed 1935 before being replaced by Raybestos Incorporated in 1947 - William Wirtzes Furniture company which operated from 1886-1935 producing upholstery goods until closing down in 1951 There are also numerous restaurants serving all types cuisine such as Chinese food noodle shop(Wu Long), Italian restaurant(Peperoni's Pizza), steak house(Taco Bell), Czech restaurant(Buca di Beppo), Polish restaurant(Kuba's Lubyanka), German restaurant(Das Reichstehaus). Many people who live close to downtown Area have started their own businesses providing unique services within walking distance or even across street from their homes like hair stylist/makeup artist/photographer Jeffery Lunsford who operates from 7 N Diner on Main Street opposite Courthouse Square or lawn care service provider Adam Richard who operates from his home across Main Street from Trinity Episcopal Church...not forgetting bars like Velvet Lounge which has stayed open since 1977 playing host to many celebrities over that period including Neil Patrick Harris and comedian Ellen DeGeneres... Multiplex theater complex built on former site housing movie theaters such as Regal Theatre complexes IMAX Dome auditoriums plus Art Deco style Palace Cinemas completed in 2003 featuring 3 floors above ground garage with 5 screens each; this complex also housesiantertainment venues such as Bluegrass Tavern Live!, PNC Arena Events Centerformerly home arena for Ohio State University basketball teams before being renamed Blossom Music Center prior to opening 2013]
