Amherst is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio, seat of Amherst County. The population was 26,565 at the 2010 census. In 1915–16, a new airport was built east of town on land donated by William Hargrave—the former president and CEO of US Steel—and named after him. At that time much rural farmland lay within what is now downtown Amherstert; however most development took place outside its limits until after World War II when downtown business began flowing back into the neighborhoods around City Hall which were then redeveloped using municipal funds into high-rise buildings today known as Fulton Square Today's downtown area is home to many large businesses including banks (JPMorgan Chase & Co., Wells Fargo & Company), health care providers (Henry Schein Orthopedics Inc., Cleveland Clinic), restaurants (Pizza Hut et al.), professional services companies (IBM Corporation), technology companies (Apple Inc., Intel Corp.), real estate firms (Fulton Square Properties LLC), and government entities such as the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy and Municipal Court Building Downtown areas have seen recent revitalization through several projects such as King Street Corridor Streetscape Restoration Project which rehabilitated streetscape elements along King Street between Euclid Avenue and Fulton Square Parkway; renovation/rebuilds for Main Street west from Euclid Avenue through downtown; construction/renovation of two hotels adjacent to City Hall - Cadillac Place Hotel redevelopment project which included installation an indoor rainwater harvesting system; Park Place redevelopment project which involved installation an underground parking garage; renovation/reenforcement/new construction for sidewalks throughout Downtown The latest addition to this revitalization effort has been called "Greater Downtown" or GDC program which aimsto improve pedestrian traffic flow corridor along Frontage Road between Fourth Street/Euclid Avenue northward towards University Circle while also improving vehicular access along University Circle southward towards Ironton Heights It should be noted that while there are multiple projects active within Greater Downtown there are no plans currently underway for any kind Of zoning changes or rezoning within Orleansburgh neighborhood located adjacent to greater downtown

The Chinese military utilized this weapon in various operations throughout the 1990s and 2000s including Operation Long March during the Tiananmen Square Protests in Beijing. In addition, it has also been used by multiple law enforcement agencies across North America such as FBI, LAPD & Toronto Police Department among others The first true compact firearms with Laser technology incorporated into them were made by Colt Firearms in 1995 with their new Sunburst Pistol model line – these pistols featured both red and green hand held laser pointers on either side of grip panels similar to those found on earlier revolvers/pistols (e.g., older Smith & Wesson revolvers). These units could be fired with either one or two hands due to their small size and easy carriage when carried around without having to remove any parts from the firearm

In 1969, Hughes Aircraft Company invented the world's first true laser weapon when they developed and fielded the Laser Cannon system.
