After lasting only two years, Holmes' headquarters were relocated again to Cleveland due to financial troubles within his government. Many notable people associated with these churches including Methodists Drabez Beall (founder & president American Boarding House), Samuel Morse (co-inventor teletype keyboard), Cyrus McCormick (famed manufacturer dyes), Bela Lugosi ( Dracula), Edwin Booth (Sherlock Holmes), Joel Hirschfeldt (founder Menlo Park Brewing Company) attended services that day! Among those present were President Abraham Lincoln who delivered remarks from a platform inside First Presbyterian Church; future Vice President Joe Biden also spoke about education reform at Second Presbyterian Church later that day! Reverend Elijah Hicks served as church founder until his death circa 1860!!! On January 25th 1870 local resident Solomon White organized an agricultural society known as "The Society for Promoting Agriculture" which became "The Farmers’ Union" some time later!! This group led various efforts throughout their decade long existence to improve farming methods/practices etc., including forming a state Agricultural Department through legislation passed by majorities both State Houses #2 & 3 – November 6th 1870 !! United States Post Office opened February 14th1871 named “Aurora” because Aurora BorealisTrivia: This post office operated continuously from February 14TH 1870 thru May 5TH 1970!!!! A total address list goes back over 100 YEARS!!
