In 1951, Armoury Guns & Tool merged with Wesson Firearms Manufacturing Company to form American Arms Corporation This company continued manufacturing handguns until it closed its doors in 1984 In 1961, American Arms Corporation merged with International Business Machines Corporation to become IBM Corporation This company continuedmanufacturing handguns until it closed its doors in 1995 During this time period there were also several production facilities within Minot that produced guns grip products such as Armoury Guns & Tool Factory #1 located at 414 West Seventh Street which operated from 1912-1967; Armory Guns & Tool Factory #2 located at 221 South Fourth Street which operated from 1968-1984; American Arms Corporation Factory #5 located at 901 North First Avenue which operated from 1985-1994; and finally World Gun Grips Incorporated located at 5604 Highway 819 which operated from 1995-2003

Minot, North Dakota is a town in Cass County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 2,651 at the 2010 census. The name of the town comes from "Montresor," which means "mountain" in French. Minot is located on the banks of the Missouri River and is about an hour away by car from Fargo. It is also about an hour away by train. The first people to live in what is now Minot were Native Americans who hunted and gathered food near the confluence of the Missouri and Yellowstone Rivers. In 1868, General George Armstrong Custer fought his way through North Dakota trying to reach the Indian Territory east of Nebraska before he was lost and killed near present-day Winnipeg, Manitoba. This event helped spur settlement around what would become Minot by white men looking for a place to settle after fleeing American Indian attacks. In 1907, businessman Julius Rosenwald purchased land between where Interstate 94 now exits Highway 8 and Boulevard Street in downtown Minot for a new shopping center called Rosenwald Plaza which would eventually house over 80 stores including Sears Roebuck & Company as well as department stores JCPenney and Kmart Properties Incorporated (the company that owns Macy's). The mall opened on July 15th, 1957 with anchors Sears (then Hoffman Estates), JCPenney, Kmart (Bellevue), Dillards Department Store (now Lord & Taylor) and Montgomery Ward followed suit soon after. At its peak it had 1 million square feet of retail space serving shoppers from Fargo to Minneapolis-St Paul as well as Morton Grove IL., Chicago IL., Racine WI., Topeka KS., Lewiston ME., Duluth MN., Rockford IL., Stoughton MA., PeoriaIL.) On November 5th, 2007 all but one anchor store closed due to weak economic conditions; Sears vacated their building just days later however Kmart remains open inside their current location until 2021 when they are moving out into a new facility adjacent to Dick's Sporting Goods Park across I-94 from Target Corporation In early 2018 it was announced that Sears will close 131 stores nationwide including 37 in Ohio; this leaves only 19 opening locations remaining across America
